Two Sawyers

Excellent breakfast. Room spacious and comfortable. Fridge in room with cold bottled water and milk. Good pub restaurant, easy parking.

Shower was a bit weak.

Very comfortable and quiet. We have stayed here.a number of times.

We liked everything. We hope to be back soon.

Room was more spacious than expected. A good size fridge provided and good tea and coffee making facility. A large fan was provided which was appreciated since it was a heat wave. Full of character. Good position for our visit to Fairlight and Rye. Live music on Friday evening.

We could not turn the shower on, which was important since it was in a heat wave. There was no member of staff available to report this to on the Saturday morning. We did leave a telephone message. The room wasn't serviced during our stay and so shower remained useless both nights. The bedside lamps and fan all ran off a multi block extension lead which ended up under the bed. So to reach the sockets to plug in phone and hearing aids I had to crawl under the bed. We knew it is a very old building, so minimal electric sockets, but a longer extension lead would have solved the problem.
