About this villa rental
Villa Amelia was constructed and completed in the summer of 2006. It is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with easy access and parking area for a few cars. The villa is in the village of Metaxata with stunning views of the most imposing Mt Aenos (1626m) and the castle of St George, the old capital of Kefalonia. The villa stands on its own grounds with an attractive and well-maintained mature garden. The swimming pool is very private, is screened by a series of tall hedging and is not overlooked by anyone. The BBQ area is enclosed with a wooden & stone pagoda and has its own lighting and running water. The villa is fully air conditioned, with two bedrooms, both en-suite with bath & shower. There is also a downstairs bathroom with shower. The ground floor comprises an open- plan large sitting room area, with 2 Italian luxurious leather sofas. For your entertainment the villa boasts a 40'' plasma TV, stereo and ipod Gear 4 docking station which can also be used at the BBQ area. The villa is equipped with a DVD and an extensive DVD library with over 300 movies to choose from with lots of old classics and movies for children. There is a fully fitted kitchen with hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine & dishwasher. There are 2 dining areas: 1 on the patio and 1 at the BBQ area and each accommodates six or more persons. Outside, there are extensive paved areas overlooking the pool with sun loungers, parasols and coffee poolside tables. . Villa Amelia is 110m2 on a site of 700m2. Everything there you would possibly need.Could not master the TV instructions to get any TV channels. We used our Prime account to watch films.The pool man was very friendly and helpful for local information. The only annoying factor was the wasps when eating outside.

Just lovely - pre stay communications, cleaner, pool maintenance and property manager all super. The property was perfect for us, clean, comfortable.All amenities we needed and really excellent outside spaces for relaxing, swimming and dining. Highly recommend. To make the most of the island, a car is most definitely needed, but this too is well catered for in a shaded parking area at the property!

We had such a wonderful time in this villa. It has all amenities that we needed (and more). It is very clean, everything is working, is in great condition and maintained well. The description is very precise. It's a lovely place in a quiet location. Perfect for us. the pool is great (for smaller kids too). The communication with the owner Patrick and Ivor&Pam on site was flawless. Everything was taken care of. We enjoyed every second of our stay and highly recommend it.

Thank you Villa Amelia. We had the best holiday. Our first in 10 years and it was everything we needed and wanted. Great location for staying on the island. We hired a car. Really close to the airport, which was great for getting the holiday started. Really lovely hosts. There if you needed them but not in your face. The villa was a perfect home from home. Everything we needed and more. Close to a few shops so we could stock up the fridge. And the pool was great. We were two adults a 10yr old and an 11yr old. Plenty of space, not overlooked. They played all week so we could actually rest!
Can’t thank you enough. We will be back next year!
