Amalfi coast Casabluette is a panoramic, quiet and delicate Mediterranean house

"Our stay in "Casabluette" in Minori was one of the highlights of our holiday in Italy. The apartment is excellent for a couple, perhaps with one child. It is spacious, very tastefully and comfortably furnished with a very personal touch. The views from all windows are memorable. The only slight offset is that there are over 130 steps from the village main street to the apartment. But, I emphasise, it is well worth the effort. Our hosts were very helpful and Vicki met our bus and showed us the apartment and around the town. The immediate neighbour is charming and friendly. Minori has a pleasanat atmosphere and is rather less 'touristy' than some of the other Amalfi towns. Loved it!!"

"The tastefully appointed apartment was everything I had hoped for, and more. The charming home with its impressive sea and mountain views is a great place to relax and recharge. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for an authentic Amalfi coast experience and an appreciation for a holiday home with character and soul. The only possible improvement would be to have some ipod speakers in the apartment, other than that, it ticks all the boxes. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and very helpful with recommendations and info about the area."

"We stayed in the apartment for a week in September 2010 at the start of a ten week holiday in Europe. It was the best accommodation we had in the whole trip. It was comfortable, clean, well appointed, had fantastic views and Minori was just lovely. Away from the 'tourist' areas of the Amalfi Coast and everyone was very welcoming in the town. The owners, Ugo and Vicki met us and showed us their apartment and had some snacks ready for us and our children. They told us all about the Amalfi Coast and the best places to go, see, eat etc. Minori is such a beautiful little village and we would thouroughly recomend this apartment and the town to anyone travelling to teh Amalfi Coast."

"We've rented the apartment for 2 weeks in April- May. The apartment was clean and having all the facilities. Location is a big advantage: the village is small and not having too much tourist attention, so you get very nice feeling of living like a local. Apartment has splendid views, the sea is really close, there are a lot of shops and restaurants around. Quiet. Also a good base for seeing other places on Amalfi coast. The hosts Ugo and Vicky were very helpful and amiable."

This is an idyllic place to stay and we felt very lucky to have found this lovely apartment, with great views to the seaside, over Minori, mountains and up to Ravello . Anita, Hugos daughter met us downstairs, showed us the apartment and introduced us to Anna, the direct neighbor, who would help, if there would turn up any problems during our stay. Anna only speaks Italian, but it was always easy to deal with her, she was so caring. In case of any question, we could always contact Hugo or Anita by WhatsApp or sms. The internet worked really well. The apartment is situated in a very old apartment block which is full of character.We loved buying food locally, cooking dinner and eating while looking out from the lovely terrace. The apartment is well equipped and furnished. The location, in the center of Minori, was near enough to the sea to go to the beach, whenever we felt like that- a real holiday treat. The bus and boat services are good and so it is easy to get to Amalfi and all other places in the Amalfi coast. We walked the stairs up and down both to Ravello, where we visited a concert, and to Maiori. Minori is a characterful and charming town - which does not suffer from to many tourists, like in other places on the Amalfi coast. We can warmly recommend Ugos flat and the town of Minori.

Alquilamos la propiedad una semana este verano, y quedamos muy contentos. Minori está estratégicamente ubicado y desde alli se puede visitar facilmente toda la Costiera (Amalfi, Positano, Vietri, Atrani, Maiori...). Tambien visitamos Capri, Napoli y Sorrento. Ugo fué muy amable y nos dió todo tipo de consejos para disfrutar de nuestra estancia. Mi sugerencia para las 5 estrellas: ventiladores en las habitaciones y conexión WiFi. Por lo demás el apartamento tiene todo lo necesario y lo recomendamos ampliamente.

Sarà difficile dimenticare il nostro soggiorno presso casabluette: si tratta di un'elegante dimora ordinata, pulita e fornita di tutto, grazie alla premura e all'attenzione del suo proprietario. La vista che si domina dal suo terrazzino e quella più ampia e luminosa del soggiorno ci hanno conquistato. Nel piccolo paese di Minori ( ma anche lì non manca nulla) ci siamo trovati benissimo: la semplicità e la gentilezza dei suoi abitanti hanno reso ancora più piacevole la nostra permanenza.

Han sido unas vacaciones inolvidables enCasabluete!! Minori es muy tranquilo y desde aquí hemos visitado Maiori, Ravello, Amalfi, Positano etc. Unos pueblos encantadores que valen realmente la pena de visitar. La casa es perfecta, muy limpia y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unas perfectas vacaciones. El propietario , Ugo, es muy amable y nos ha ayudado con sus consejos sobre qué sitios visitar, restaurantes etc. Recomendable totalmente.

Casabluette is the perfect place for a perfect holiday in Costiera Amalfitana. We had a wonderful time. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. It's very convenient for visiting this marvelous part of Italy.

Eine herrliche Woche in Minori! Ein wunderbares Fischerdorf an der Amalfiküste, vielleicht der einzige authentische Ort an der ganzen Küste, nur vier Kilometer von Amalfi entfernt und er wird doch von den Touristenbussen verschont. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Ugo empfangen, er holte uns am Strand ab und brachte uns zu dem romantischen Appartment im dritten Stock eines alten Gebäudes. Dort erwarteten uns nicht nur ein atemberaubender Ausblick auf das Meer und den Kirchturm, sondern auch ein sehr geschmackvoll und geräumiges Appartment. In der Küche konnten wir jeden Tag Fisch und frische Pasta zubereiten, ab dem zweiten Tag kannten uns alle Ladenbesitzer und empfahlen uns ihre frischesten Produkte. Da wir beide sehr gern kochen, war es herrlich für uns. Wir sind aber auch zweimal Pizza essen gegangen, und fast täglich Cappuccino mit Torta unten an der Promenade. Da wir einen Mietwagen hatten, haben wir Ausflüge an der Küste nach Amalfi oder Positano unternommen, einmal waren wir in Pompei und Neapel. An einem Vormittag bin ich alleine mit dem Bus nach Amalfi gefahren und von dort mit dem Boot nach Positano, ein sehr empfehlenswerter Ausflug! Ausserdem ein anderes Highlight: ein Spaziergang nach Ravello: vierzig Minuten Treppensteigen aber es lohnt sich! Ein toller Ausblich, der Ort ist wirklich hübsch und der Höhepunkt ist der Konzertsaal von Oskar Niemeyer direkt oben auf dem Berg. Ich kann den Ort Minori und dieses wundervolle, sehr komfortable Appartment von Ugo nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Es lohnt sich, auch länger, für zwei Wochen, dort zu bleiben.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour à Casabluette. L’appartement est grand, lumineux avec une belle vue sur la mer, très typique de l’Italie du sud. Il a le charme des anciennes maisons du 17ème siècle mais avec tout le confort du 21ème siècle. L’accueil de Ugo est formidable : petite visite de Minori, les bonnes adresses (restaurants, pizzeria, pasticheria, etc), agrumes, huile d’olive, verres de vin, limoncello. Nous avons eu un séjour formidable et je recommande Casabluette sans réserves. Ioan

We have had a wonderful time at the Amalficoast and this house ( we became a warm welcome by the owner) was realy the best we could have in the centre of Minori, a little autentic place in the middle of the coast from where we could reach all the beautiful places by bus or by walking. We did not have rent a car and it was good, we did not miss it. When you walk to Ravello, Amalfi and Maiori by stairs you have a wonderful view. To reach the house you have to take 120 steps, but it was not a problem (and we are about 60). There are enough shops and good restaurants, the people are nice and they want to help you if they can.

Wer die Amalfitana, ihre Menschen und ihre Attraktionen kennenlernen will und auf ein Hotel mit Vollpension verzischten kann, ist hier - wenn man den Aufstieg über die Treppen geschafft hat (an die man sich aber im Laufe der Zeit gewöhnt) - an der richtigen Stelle. Minori ist im Gegensatz zu Amalfi und Positano nicht so touristisch überlaufen und noch mehr eine typische italienische Stad mit allen notwendigen Geschäften, Restaurants und Pasticcerien (unbedingt probieren). Die Ferienwohnung Casabluette hat für uns als Paar sehr viel Platz geboten, war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat eine herrliche Lage über der Stadt mit schöner überdachter Kleinterrasse (siehe Fotos). Trotz der zentralen Lage empfanden wir es als relativ ruhig (insbesondere in der Nacht). Man ist schnell an der Bushaltestelle und die Busanbindungen von Minori aus zu den verschiedenen Orten der Costiera sind so gut, dass man auf jeden Fall auf ein Auto verzichten sollte. Aber auch schöne Wanderungen z. B. nach Ravello oder Atrani lassen sich von Minori aus unternehmen. Wir würden uns sofort wieder für diese Wohnung entscheiden!

E' BELLO PARTIRE PER LE ESCURSIONI COSI' A PORTATA DI MANO, AL MATTINO, DOPO UNA BELLA COLAZIONE SUL TERRAZZINO GUARDANDO AL MARE E ALLA MONTAGNA SAPENDO CHE ALLA SERA CASA BLUETTE E' LI' AD ACCOGLIERCI CON IL SUO CALORE. MINORI POI E' STATA UNA SCOPERTA, CON I SUOI ABITANTI COSI' ACCOGLIENTI E DISPONIBILI. CASA BLUETTE E' VERAMENTE INCANTEVOLE, ABBIAMO TRASCORSO UNA SETTIMANA SERENA E PIACEVOLE.
