I have to mark that we were travelling in August, and that 2026 was a hard summer all over Europe. That made the property's landscape not the one you see in the pictures seen when you are making your reservation. This is not the owner's fault, but if you are looking for that beautiful lake and green scenery, make sure you contact them for recent pictures. However, I walked in the woods close to the hotel and enjoyed my walk. It was worth it, even without the greens I was looking for. The decoration in the hall is beautiful. The whole hotel is beautiful, by the way.

There is no air conditioner, so I suffered a lot to sleep. The bed and mattress were in good condition. Very neat and clean. We didn't like the fact that they struggled to communicate in any language other than French. The lady was much more willing to help and made a clear effort to understand us. However, the gentleman got a bit nervous when we were ordering the food and ended up using an "unhappy sentence" when we were ordering. He apologised afterwards, but it was too late when you want to make an impression. We ended up NOT having the bottle of wine that we wanted and decided to go for a walk. The food was good, but too expensive for the portions served. I think and suggest the owners should have the menu translated into other languages, at least Spanish and English, to avoid those kinds of uncomfortable moments. As tourists, we want to be understood, moreover because at the end of the day, hotels live from our money...
