About this apartment rental
It is a lovely, small (65sqm large) flat, very special for its location. In fact it is at 1 Km from the Lucca train station and 1.5 Km from the centre, and it is possible to get there just by walking along the 1800 'Acquedotto'.
It is at the second (and top) floor of a small condo, 1.5 Km south of Lucca. There is an entrance/hall and a small wall dividing the kitchen from the living room. From this area there is access to 2 terraces, one small (a service terrace with heating machine, a basin, etc) and one bigger, from where there are very beautiful views on the '1800s Acquedotto' (200 m) and the towers of Lucca. This terrace is big enough to have a table for lunch/dinner for up to 4 persons. There is a bathroom with shower and 2 bedrooms, one double and one single bedroom. There is the possibility to accommodate one more person on a sofa' bed in the living room. There are washing machine and dish washer.
Special car rental rates with the possibility of: pick-up at the airport and drive to your property.
Excursion to our own Wineries in the Chianti area producing excellent wines with visit to the vineyards, the wine cellar and final wine-tastings with the owners.
Possibility of guided tours of the town of Lucca, its villas, and special tours in the countryside.
Possibility to play golf in four courses at a distance of 25 up to 40 min drive.
Chauffeur with a 8 seats bus available for special tours in the region
Access to a private beach club on request
Special Tuscan meals: prepared by our cook upon your arrival and/or during the week
Individual tours: : - To discover the ' Cinque Terre' by our 20mt long sail boat.

Had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The apartment has everything you need just next door to Lucca which is a really nice walk 10 minutes next to the viaduct.Really comfortable bed fantastic terrace for eating outside on the night time with an amazing sunset love this place and I would recommend it to the next family.Thank you Dario for our stay.

Dario and Genni are wonderful hosts. We loved living in their apartment in the authentic countryside among vegetable gardens, yet only a 10-minute walk via the viaduct to the Lucca city walls! Perfecto!

We really enjoyed staying at Genni & Dario’s apartment. It is an easy walk to the walled town of Lucca, has fabulous rural views from the balcony, is homely with helpful reading material, and we enjoyed it being cool inside when the days were hot. Our hosts explained everything to us when we arrived and we’re always available by phone or text. A great place to stay.

Die Wohnung von Genni und Dario liegt südlich von Lucca in der Nähe des Bahnhofs.
Für den Preis und für zwei Leute ist die Wohnung gut.
Ausstattung:
Besteck ist, wie leider oft in diesen Wohnungen, nur so knapp vorhanden, dass sich ein Spülmaschinengang eigentlich nie lohnt. Gekocht haben wir dort somit nicht. Einen Stromanschluss für die Mikrowelle haben wir nicht gefunden. Das Thema Müllentsorgung ist in Lucca speziell geregelt, man sollte sich das gut erklären lassen.
TV ist nicht vorhanden, dafür ein schneller Internetzugang.
Das franz. Bett ist ausreichend groß, die Matratze fest, aber nicht hart. Das Nachttisch-Leselicht könnte heller sein. Die Sparleuchtmittel haben halt auch in Italien Einzug gehalten. Bei Ostwind sollte man das Schlafzimmerfenster zu lassen und den Raum anders belüften, sonst hört man die nahe Autobahn.
Es gibt leider keine Duschtasse, so dass man nach jedem Duschen wischen muss.
Lage:
Lucca ist mit dem Fahrrad schnell und unproblematisch zu erreichen. Ein großer Supermarkt befindet sich in ca 1,5 km Entfernung im Westen, ein guter Bäcker auf der Hälfte der Strecke Rtg. Supermarkt.
Mit Dario kann man gut englisch, aber auch sehr gut deutsch reden.
Beide sind absolut nett und hilfsbereit.
