Hotel Poenita

Hotel Poenita is situated at the far end of town. Check-in was completed efficiently by the pleasant receptionist. Breakfast was not included in the room price we paid but could be provided for 48 lei per person if we so wished. Our room was a standard motel-style room on the first floor, somewhat spartan but comfortable enough and very clean, as was the bathroom. From our balcony we could see our car parked below. We were able to buy beer (12 lei for 33cl) and sit outside. The whole place was very quiet as the summer season had not yet started. The next day we parked about 500 yards from the hotel and set off on walking paths into town - a longish walk but pleasant in the sunshine, and a nice way to reach the old town.

Este într-o locație cu verdeață,liniștită,se aud greierii noaptea și cocoșii dimineața.E o zonă foarte bună pentru reculegere și relaxare.Camera e mare,spațioasă,baia e ok cu cabină de duș.E curată,ca si pensiunea

Nu are frigider.Am ințeles că nici o cameră nu are.E departe de cetatea Sighișoara.Când cobori de la pensiune e ok o plimbare pe jos până în oraș dar când te intorci obosită trebuie să iei taxi pentru că se urcăno pantă.Dacă vii cu mașina e ok.

It was pretty clean, the floor is partially heated, parking spaces available, the personnel was nice

The rooms are small and old and the walls are made out of paper. We could hear people going to the bathroom, their alarm clocks, people going down the stairs or talking, birds outside chirping (and it wouldn't have been an issue if all this wouldn't have been happening at 6 am). So if you're not a light sleeper, it's okay. Otherwise, you might want to reconsider. We picked this location because we just needed a place to spend the night and it was a last minute thing, but it's definitely not a good value for money.
