About this cottage rental

Sympathetically renovated, the Boathouse is a beautiful, 2 bedroom, 2 storey house which sleeps up to 5. Set in the heart of the village it is literally a 30 second walk to the lovely Little Haven beach. With parking for the guests car directly in front of the front door you can just roll right into this fully equipped house.

The Boathouse, is upside down in design, with 2 bedrooms downstairs and an airy, contemporary, open plan living space upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and bedroom 2, bunk beds and a single bed. In addition the property has safety gates and a high chair if required. There is a feature window upstairs, allowing the viewer beautiful views of the village and crashing waves at high tide.

The cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast, with the village having 3 excellent pubs, an art gallery, craft shop and a relaxed beach cafe.

Short breaks would be considered but a minimum of £350 is charged over winter months.

The Boathouse is exceptionally well furnished, decorated and equipped. The upstairs open plan living room / dining area/ kitchen works really well. Spent a fair bit of time looking out of the windows! The location is superb - right in the middle of the village with two minutes walk to the beach or to the three pubs and tea room. It is a good base for exploring the area and walking distance to Broad Haven where there is is a supermarket and more eating/ drinking places. The beach is great and huge at low tide. Can't fault this holiday!

The place with almost everything! As the harbour is only a minute away the lack of sitting out space was not an issue. A great place to stay with every convenience provided.

Our fifth visit to Little Haven and our first at the Boat House which we loved. The property worked so well for us as a family, both in terms of location and living arrangements. It would be hard to get closer to the beach which was perfect for us and meant we could nip back to get the boards or whatever else, when the kids decided they wanted them (rather than lug everything to the beach only to find you don’t need it). The kids loved the upside down layout and the fact that we could come back from the beach and have space to get sandy clothes and shoes off, store all beach things and walk (on heated floor!) straight into the lovely spacious shower was bliss! It was always a lovely warm house to return to. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable and the upstairs living area nice and bright and the kitchen had everything we needed. The fridge is a little small if you have done a large shop, but appreciate this is tricky with the sloping eaves. Great to have the washing machine and tumble dryer too. Excellent value for money and just a great base for a beach holiday. We will definitely book again :-)

The Boathouse was excellent accommodation, had everything we needed and more. Only seconds from the harbour, and the St Brides Inn which served wonderful food. Will definitely return.

We had a great time at The Boat House. Location - in the heart of Little Haven - is perfect. With the wood burner flickering away it was home from home after a days exploring of the amazing Pembrokeshire coast.

Even with the changes that had to be made for COVID this property was clean, comfortable and in a lovely position near the small beach at LIttle Haven. Although there were no shops in the village we were able to get an online shop from the supermarket at Haverfordwest and when the tide was out it was a lovely walk along the beach to the local Londis at Broad Haven for necessities or the Italian restaurant for a meal. We saw some stunning sunsets from the pub garden and the beach and it was an ideal base to explore the beautiful Pembrokshire coast.

Having not visited the area for 15 years nor rented this property on previous visits I chose it after its speck met our requirements. I was extremely pleased once my husband and I arrived to find the property more than met our expectations and we enjoyed a lovely weeks holiday.

We had a warm, comfortable and very pleasant stay at The Boat House. A few minor changes would just add a few extra touches but nothing that detracted from it being the perfect holiday home. We do hope to return. Thank you.
