The location can’t be beat. We were able to walk to coffee shops, groceries, the French Quarter and watch a Mardi Gras parade easily. It’s right outside the French Quarter and is a quiet area. The staff is fantastic! Tammy, Wilson, and team are very friendly and helpful and were so accommodating when we had weather related flight cancellations and had to keep extending.
The villa itself needs updated, the flooring is warped in spots.

Close to everything and the property is like an oasis!
Our chateau was a little dated, could have used some paint and was tight for 8 adult people.

Accommodations were nice. The outdoor area with the pool and hot tub was amazing!!! Beautiful area. We are already planning to come back to stay there.

The positives for the property was the location, it had a great community feel and safe to walk to Frenchman St.
The outside space was big and nice but probably needs refurbished in terms of the furniture and cushion covers which were very dirty.
The pool was very hot, almost like a hot bath, so not ideal for cooling off.
The inside of the property is marketed for up to 8 people, we were a group of 6, and was way too small. Unfortunately the property is not fit for purpose, the living room is tiny with not enough seating for the 6 of us. It also had a barn sliding door of the living room for the bathroom, very strange to have a bathroom there! The master bedroom was fine with an en suite. The other 3 bedrooms were tiny, with no drawers space to put our clothes which meant we lived out of our cases on the floor. Which meant you could not walk around the beds. My bedroom had no window and felt very claustrophobic, the mattress was also too small for the bed.
The A/C did not keep the property cool, we asked a staff member to look at it and he did but it didn’t help. It averaged 75 and didn’t seem to get cooler in the living spaces.
The kitchen was adequate, we didn’t cook in it, it did have dishes, pots etc.
All in all we enjoyed New Orleans but the property was very disappointing and not fit for purpose for hosting 6 people in a marketed 8 person property.
