    We really enjoyed our time at The Norm Oriental Hotel! The beach was lovely, and there was plenty of entertainment to keep us busy. The staff were so kind and friendly, which made our stay even better. The hotel is a bit old, and we did notice some issues — the bathroom could be improved, and the door was practically falling apart. It was a little annoying, but honestly, it didn’t bother us too much. The atmosphere and the amazing staff more than made up for it.

    Overall Impression We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is a true 5-star experience — modern, clean, and thoughtfully updated. Compared to a nearby 5-star hotel (Simena) we stayed in earlier, this one felt a level above. The atmosphere is pleasant throughout, from the updated cafés and restaurants to the beach area with new sunbeds. Rooms Spacious and comfortable. We upgraded to a sea view room — lovely. Minibar replenished every morning on request. Housekeeping was generally good, though toilet paper wasn’t always restocked and floors could be cleaner. Dining Restaurants and cafés are modern and well-stocked. Breakfast included fresh orange juice. Lunch and dinner offered a wide variety, though fish is limited. Saturdays featured “fish day” with grilled and stewed options. Desserts were plentiful. The à la carte restaurants appeared mostly empty, yet we were unable to get a reservation even after trying five days in advance. They first asked which tour operator we were booked with — since we were travelling independently, we suspect this affected our ability to get a table. Overall, the food was tasty. Overall, the food was tasty, and whenever something ran out, it was almost always replenished. Bars & Drinks Wide selection of cocktails and drinks. Not all bartenders make cocktails equally well, but alcohol quality is good, including imported selections. Champagne and wine were good enough. Beach & Leisure Beach is updated and comfortable. Evening entertainment includes shows, a disco until midnight, and a hookah area. Family-friendly, so nightlife is calm. Summary Good value for money. Modern and enjoyable, with plenty of choices in places, food and drink. We would definitely return.
