About this docked boat rental
We would like to welcome you in our holiday home with the name Casa Kontenu. The house is located at Villapark Fontein, a small 24/7 guarded resort. Villapark Fontein is located on the quiet part of Curacao and close to the most beautiful beaches, nice sights and several good restaurants.
Casa Kontentu:
Our house with private pool and lovely spacious porch has a living area of 120m2. Our house is on a free plot with an area of 800 m2 The Casa was built in May 2015, fully furnished and equipped with all comforts. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can accommodate 6 people. Two cars can be parked on the driveway.
Wifi and 220volt sockets are available. In the garden is a large palapa with a corner lounge set and hammocks on which you can relax in the shade, read a book or drink a cocktail The swimming pool is 6x3 meters and provides a wonderful cooling.
Living room:
The spacious living room has a sofa, 2 beautiful lounge chairs, coffee table, TV cabinet, dresser and display cabinet. With your laptop, tablet or smartphone you can watch TV via the internet (Apple TV present). You can listen to music on the home cinema set and also a DVD player is available. Various books and games are also available. The ceiling fan provides cooling if necessary.
Kitchen:
For your convenience, the kitchen is equipped with luxury appliances such as American fridge / freezer (with cold water tap and ice maker), dishwasher, gas hob and microwave. Also to a Senseo, sandwich maker and kettle is thought. Naturally, crockery, cutlery and pans are widely available.
Bedrooms:
The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 with luxury box spring beds, The 3rd bedroom has a double sofa bed. The 2 largest bedrooms have 2 spacious built-in wardrobes in which you can easily store all your belongings. the third bedroom has a chest of drawers. There are also 2 camp beds and a high chair available.
The bedrooms are equipped with modern air conditioning systems. For small children 2 camp beds and a high chair are available.
Bathrooms:
These are equipped with a shower with hot water and toilet. The bathroom furniture gives plenty of space for your own toilet articles
Porch:
The spacious porch is equipped with a luxurious dining set with 6 adjustable wicker chairs with high back and a large table of 240x100 cm. You can enjoy lunch and dinner on the porch. From the porch you look out over the pool and hear the sugar thieves singing
Storage:
It contains the washing machine, vacuum cleaner, ironing board, iron, clothes dryer and BBQ
Garden:
The villa has a large garden with plants from the island: palms, bougainvillea, aloe vera, agave and cacti. In the garden at the edge of the pool is also the 4x4 Palapa with a corner lounge set and hammock, in which you can relax in the shade, read a book or drink a cocktail. Because the garden is bordered with a wall and plants, you also have plenty of privacy in Casa Kontenu.
Surroundings:
At 5 minutes by car you will find a bakery, small supermarket, ATM and gas station. Also local snack, smoothie and fries tents can be reached within 5 minutes.
At the resort you can enjoy delicious food at Bliss, next to it are Character, Coral, Laternu, Country house Daniel and eatery De Buurvrouw at 5 minutes by car. Within 10 minutes you are at the most beautiful beaches:
Cas Abou, Porto Marie and the freely accessible Daaibooi. Making walks from our resort in the nature reserve Fontein is also possible. Our resort is only accessible via a barrier and there is 24/7 security

This was just a great place to stay it was centralized in curaçao and had plenty of time to spend around the private pool! Jack even checked in on us during our stay which was much appreciated!

We recently stayed at this fabulous home for two weeks at Christmas. The house had everything that we needed and more! The three bedrooms were large and each had air conditioning and very comfortable beds. Just a sidenote that we only ran air conditioning at night in each of the bedrooms, but opening both doors in the house and putting the fan on allowed us to have good airflow in the evening. We paid about 300 for electricity and water for the two weeks we were there. The pool was a wonderful addition with lots of space to lounge, including a Palapa with patio furniture, which was perfect for your morning coffee or when we came back from the beach and wanted some shade. We spent a lot of time on the deck as well. There was a large dining table and we made good use of the barbecue. We cooked many meals at home and the kitchen was well appointed with a gas cooktop, lots of dishes, cutlery, glasses, and a very large fridge/freezer. The entire yard was landscaped with many different plants and provided privacy from the homes around us. The house’s location was perfect for us as we spent a lot of our time exploring the beaches on the west side of the island. The closest beach was five minutes away, and the furthest was only 20 minutes. It took us approximately 15 to 20 minutes to reach the large grocery store called centrum in about 25 minutes to get to Wiilemstad. We would recommend this home and would certainly stay again. Jack was a wonderful host!

House was wonderful. Everything was clean, the outside pool and pergola (with hammocks) were perfect.Even though the houses are close together, it was always quiet and the landscaping really helped to make the space feel like a private oasis.

We spent 2 refreshing weeks in this beautiful and cozy villa in a tranquil gated-community. The villa, grounds and pool were immaculate. The villa had everything we needed and was an excellent base for exploring Curaçao, especially the amazing beaches in the West. Our host and housekeeper were very kind, accommodating and reliable. We would definitely want to stay here again.
