About this house rental
Located in Torre dell'Orso, on the first floor of a complex of terraced houses, the house has a balcony on the front and a veranda on the back (which has a table, a sink, a washing machine, a drying rack, an outdoor fridge). A pleasant breeze refreshes the veranda on which both the air-conditioned double room and a double room with a TV and a small library give, both rooms equipped with mosquito nets. On the balcony overlooks the spacious air-conditioned kitchen-living room, fitted with a sliding mosquito net and equipped with a two-seater sofa bed. The bathroom is equipped with toilet, bidet, sink, walk-in shower, electric water heater and hairdryer; the bathroom window also has a sliding mosquito net.
The house is located 100 meters from the seafront and the first rocky cove, 200 meters from the Grotta delle Monache, 450 meters from the sandy beach of Torre dell'Orso and from the town center. While it is a couple of kilometers from the Grotta della Poesia, widely considered one of the most beautiful natural pools in the world. Those who flee from the crowds on the beach may well reach one of the pleasant coves, such as rocky and sandy, which are found before and after Torre Sant'Andrea, so close that they can even go by bike. Along this stretch of coast are the extended sandy shore of the Alimini Lakes and the Baia dei Turchi.
The rate includes cleaning and utilities.
Optional: bath and bed linen € 15 per person (to be requested at least 2-3 days before the beginning of the stay).

Appartamento con ogni confort e in posizione centrale seppur fuori dai rumori delle auto, vicino al mare e alla passeggiata del lungomare, il proprietario Nicola disponibilissimo ed i suoi "appunti di viaggio" con località e ristoranti da visitare sono stati utilissimi per vivere al meglio la nostra vacanza... Il Salento in Settembre è fantastico!

Io e la mia compagna abbiamo alloggiato in questo bell'appartamento l'ultima settimana di giugno. Devo dire che è stata un'ottima scelta. L'appartamento è arredato molto bene e ha tutte le dotazioni che servono per soggiornare in tranquillità: è bene ventilato ( comunque dispone di condizionatori), ha una bella terrazza dove pranzare/cenare all'aperto, una cucina ben fornita e gli ambienti sono grandi e luminosi. Inoltre, l'appartamento è in una posizione leggermente decentrata rispetto alle spiagge e alla "movida" di torre dell'orso, che ti permette comunque di avere veramente tutto (market, spiagge, ristoranti bar e farmacia) a non più di 5 minuti di cammino, ma al tempo stesso è in luogo più tranquillo e silenzioso.
I proprietari (Nicola e Gaetano) sono persone veramente gentili e alla mano, per non parlare del vicinato ( :D )

In seguito alla segnalazione di questo appartamento da parte di amici, vi ho trascorso alcuni giorni di vacanza durante la prima settimana di luglio.
Accoglienza ineccepibile in alloggio molto pulito, arredato con mobili nuovi, comodissimo nella sua semplicità e perfettamente corrispondente a quanto descritto nel sito. Per chi ama mangiare in casa è possibile cenare in un terrazzino arredato in compagnia di una piacevole brezza marina.
Il mare non è distante, la spiaggia più vicina è a soli 7/8 minuti a piedi e con solo mezz'ora di macchina è possibile raggiungere Lecce o visitare La Cutura, incantevole giardino botanico nato tra le pietre.
Nella casa ci sono anche mappe e cartine del Salento ed il proprietario, Nicola, vi darà preziose indicazioni per visitare le zone circostanti.
Non solo, all'arrivo non vi farà mancare un vassoio di “pasticciotti” di produzione locale a dir poco sublimi.

Non eravamo mai stati in questo tratto di costa e cosa fa il proprietario, oltre a lasciarci una serie di guide del Salento e di questa zona? Ci fa trovare degli "appunti di viaggio" scritti di suo pugno, veri e propri itinerari di viaggio, che ci sono risultati molto utili. Verso e oltre San Foca, verso Castro, verso Maglie. La casa era molto pulita e, suppongo, ritinteggiata di fresco. Cenare in veranda dopo una giornata di mare: piacevolissimo. Da ritornarci!
