Nice little apartment in the district of Dorsoduro, away from the hustle and bustle of San Marco. Very basic amenities - could use an additional mirror outside of the bathroom. Besides this, we had a nice stay. The place is close to many cafes, restaurants and S. Basilio vaporetto stop.

Charming canal view stay — a true Venetian gem.This cozy, architecturally charming home offered an authentic Venice experience. Just a short 4-minute walk from both a convenient local mini market (perfect for picking up groceries to use in the well-equipped little kitchen) and the nearby water taxi and ferry stations, the location couldn't have been more ideal.Our 3-night stay was wonderful — peaceful, comfortable, and full of character. While the internet connection wasn’t the strongest and we did need to purchase an adaptor for the Italian outlets, these were minor details compared to the overall experience.The home was well worth the stay. We genuinely enjoyed our time here and would happily return. A lovely place to experience the heart of Venice.

This property was right out of a storybook. The location was unbeatable. The water taxi was able to bring is essentially right to our door (very close). The window looks right out onto the canal with a small patio situation that was very romantic. Nice bathroom and kitchen area with plenty of space and really clean. The location could not be beat. You can access all the shops and walk to all of the best attractions. It's in a younger, collegey neighborhood, so it has lots of life and culture. Would reocmmend to anyone!

This property was perfect for us. Meters away from great restaurants and the curtains open up to a typical Venice waterway. Our host was quick to reply when we landed at Marco Polo airport and was there when we arrived. 5 out of 5 stars for communication. We were provided with all the info we needed to make our stay perfect. We would love to stay here again if/when we come back.

My husband and I recently stayed at this property on a five day visit to Venice. Dorsoduro is a great part of the city to stay in because it is quieter, but still very convenient to walk to all of the main sightseeing destinations. We were met at the door by our greeter, who gave us a through orientation to the property. The most amazing feature is the water door, which is two steps down from the main floor and opens up onto a small canal. The door is locked, but you can request the key if you want to travel to the property via gondola or boat. We loved seeing occasional gondolas quietly glide by! This property was perfect for us. A previous review said something about the bed and pillows being uncomfortably firm. They are firm, but we were able to sleep, and any discomfort was more than compensated for by the location. We loved our stay and appreciate that this beautiful property was available.

The studio was very clean and attractive. The kitchen described as ‘full’ with microwave only had a hob. The kettle only seemed to plug in on the floor by the table. My reason for booking was the lovely boat door opening onto the canal. This was locked. The owner said it was illegal to have it open although in the particulars it says easy access by boat taxi to that opening. Then a boat was parked in front obscuring the view of the canal. Helpful host and great location but I was disappointed.

We thought the location is great! We recommend staying in the Dosoduro neighborhood away from the CRAZY crowds of San Marco. Our host was very nice and helpful. The apartment was clean. The only we did not like was the pillows and bed were not comfortable. We did not sleep great. Everything else we were happy with.

We have visited Venice a few times. We decided to rent an apartment rather than stay in a hotel. We loved staying at Irene's place. It was just in the right spot to jump on/off a vaporetto either at San Basilio or Ca' Rezzonico. Being on a canal watching the boats and gondolas go by, listening to the church bells, and listening to the rain were enjoyed from the apartment. It was an "easy" stay. The kitchen isn't really equipped to do much more than sandwich making, toast, cereal, coffee making.... If we are lucky to return to Venice, we'd love to return to this unit.

Lovely apartment in a nice neighborhood. Despite multiple communications with the host and greeter about our arrival method and time, we were not met by anyone. It was quite stressful after a day of travel. Fortunately another guest was able to help us out to finally get in. Also, the wifi is weak, especially in the kitchen.

The check in was super easy and the location is away from the super touristy spots but still close enough to walk to everything. It’s close to one of the best pizza spots in Venice. The view you have of the canal is out of a movie. The host is amazing and made sure we were well taken care of. 5 stars. Book this spot. You won’t regret it. When I come back to Venice I’m going to try and stay here again.

One of the best vacation stays we have anywhere, and we travel a lot. Host is very friendly and accommodating. And the apartment – what a jem! It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood, just a few steps from main attractions. Secure entrance, ground floor in a beautifully renovated old building. Marble floors. Bedroom area has access right to the water of the canal through a small patio. The access door to the water and the docked boat is locked, for obvious safety reasons, but what a dream it would be to live here! Great stay, overall. Will definitely come back and recommend to all our friends.

This charming small apartment in Dorsoduro includes an original canal door that faces a quiet residential waterway. We woke each morning to the sounds of water lapping against this door and the occasional cry of a seagull. The recessed patio area directly in front of the canal door provides a pleasant seating area for breakfast or aperitivos, though it did flood one night (just an inch or so of water, all gone by dawn). The kitchen and bathroom are clean and well appointed and there is a large wardrobe with drawers for clothes, shoes, etc. The apartment, in an attractively renovated palazzo, is an easy straight-ahead walk from the Ca' Rezonnico vaparetto stop and very near Campo Santa Margherita with its cafes and children playing soccer in the evening. Our communications with Irene were prompt and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. A wonderful area from which to explore Venice.

We enjoyed our stay in Venice at this cute property. It is ground level and the terrace opens to the canal with nice views of the passing boats. There was a boat parked right in front of our terrace, however, which made it a little difficult to see the water. Everything was very clean. The shower is very small. The host met us outside the property to let us in because google maps does not take to the correct address in Venice. Overall very comfortably and great location!

Such a cute little place with your own little nook right on a canal and very close to a vaparetto stop, food and the Da Vinci inventions museum, while still being quiet. Around the corner from the oldest operating bookstore in Venice and the coolest mask shop where you can make your own masks. Super pleasant stay, Erica was fantastic. Would stay here again in a heatbeat.
