Everything - the hotel was so pretty and quaint - lovely to sit on the balcony or in the sitting area outside reception where they provide free tea and coffee. The pool with the fish was so relaxing. This place was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the shower great. I was on the top floor right at the end so perfect for sitting out. The location was brillant - everything is literally just around the corner yet this hotel is so peaceful. Perfect base for exploring Kanchanaburi. This is family run and you can tell. They brought us out fruit to try when we were in the sitting area and were very friendly. They do have a dog which as I'm scared of dogs worried me but they have good control of it and it turned out to be lovely.

The rooms are quite large and have a traditional Thai feel about them. The bed was large and comfortable and we slept very well.
It is in a quiet area despite being in between 2 busy roads. There are various shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in easy reach as well as car/scooter rental places.
Despite the awful weather we enjoyed our stay. The sun came out on the day we left.
It has a few tables and chairs, but not a dining area, with a microwave and coffee/tea making facilities,.

close to town and railway
a neighbor played loud karaoke for three nights in a row till after 1am. on the 2nd night I asked the owner to do something. He did make a call and the music stopped at 1.30am.
