Both of our hosts were quite friendly. We don’t speak French and our one host only spoke French - but we got by! The location was great - close to town, yet tucked away enough to feel like you were in the country. We were greeted with two glasses of rose and a light snack by the pool upon arrival which was an unexpected nice touch.

Misleading Photos and Disappointing Experience. We were drawn in by the beautiful photographs, but unfortunately, the reality didn’t match the presentation. Poor Maintenance & Lack of Care: The property was not well maintained. Decorative rock beds, the pool patio, and even the pool itself had natural debris scattered throughout. When we arrived, an old, crusty towel was draped over a pool chair - clearly left behind from a previous guest. We spoke with a summer staff member who told us things had been quiet and that he hadn’t had much to do yet - he was mostly “just chillin’.” That was surprising, considering the obvious lack of upkeep around the grounds. We found a broken pool skimmer net and ended up cleaning the pool ourselves on our second day - a minor win, but certainly not what we’d expected from a paying stay. Spa Facility: Not a Hammam If you’re hoping for a true hammam experience, temper your expectations. What’s advertised as a hammam is really just a basic steam sauna. There is also a wet sauna, but again, nothing close to the traditional hammam experience we were excited for. I expected black soap and exfoliating mitts to be available, as is standard in most hammams, but they weren’t - I had to specifically ask for black soap, and it was handed to us just before we entered. Inside the steam room, we quickly realized the setup was incomplete: there was no running water, no drain covers, and no exfoliating mitts - just basic face towels. After steaming and applying soap, we had to search for a bowl to rinse the steam room ourselves. The room felt unused for months - dust, bugs, cobwebs, and grime in every corner. It’s a shame, because the space itself has potential, but it’s clearly been neglected. Breakfast: Underwhelming Breakfast was not the “exceptional” experience we’d read about. One positive: it was served directly to our patio, which was a nice touch. The meal consisted of yogurt (which was fine), coffee, fruit, and eggs for my partner.

Absolutely loved this place, so relaxing, great facilities, wonderful breakfast served on the terrace every morning and a great welcome from a lovely couple. The apartment was well equipped and also stayed cool despite the heat outside. We enjoyed the fab pool and made use of the spa facilities - all in all a really great find and we’ll definitely be back to explore the area more.

It would have been good to have some hanging space as we were travelling for a wedding and needed to hang up a suit and some outfits but we got around that with a sturdy curtain rod and some hangers.

We can’t rave enough about our hosts. They were kind and happy to give us space or get to know us, whichever we preferred. We made the mistake of not renting a car and they kindly drove us to an event we had in the area and to the airport. They provided great recommendations for things to do. The town is quite small but very cute and charming.

Hosts Aurelie and Rene were amazing and sweet. Aurelie has an answer to any question you might have about the region and gives the best suggestions. Rene makes amazing breakfasts. The house is located in a peaceful area so you can sleep with windows open and enjoy fresh air and sounds of nature.

It was suprisingly windy and cold for half of our stay, but it has nothing to do with accomodation itself. It's just a pity we couldn't use pool as much as we would have wanted.

The space is beautiful. The host couple is very personable and kind and really made my stay..I felt Ingot a taste of local Provence thanks to conversations and interactions with them. In addition they were so helpful - I didnt have a car and they offered to drop me off places on their errands and even picked me up after a vineyard tour. I had an early flight and was worried about uber reliability and instead they dropped me to MRS for same price. This amongst many other kind gestures. They’re also a very interesting couple and great to chat with. The space is gorgeous - I was in the pool view king suite first and had a great view of the pool. While it’s in view of other guests relaxing at pool I didnt mind since if I needed I just drew the curtains. Also, there arent that many other guests - and theyre not staring inside. Then I extended my stay and moved to a room inside the main house that was available. It was a very different experience, smaller but more part of the household and personal - the night view from the room was stunning. It was like a Cézanne painting - and you can almost see him painting in the region.
