Stayed for a week in this house and wished we’d stayed longer. The house is definitely the best holiday home I’ve rented for lots of reasons: the immaculately kept grounds and swimming pool; the comfortable beds and bedrooms; the brilliantly equipped kitchen; the fabulous outdoor eating area and the most amazing, gorgeous views. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thank you!

Amazing house in a great location

We had amazing 2 week stay at the end of June, the house is just perfect for a family holiday. We spent the majority of our time around the pool and the outdoor areas as the setup was great for our young family and our dog. The pool is the highlight but the house itself is great and has everything you would expect and more. Lorgues itself is a lovely little town and the location is perfect for day trips to the coast or visiting nearby villages and attractions. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Superb property - best of service!

La Passiflore is probably the best rental property we have come across in many years of hiring gîtes in France. Firstly, it is in a fantastic location, high above the lovely country town of Lorgues with superb views across the plains to the Maure mountain range. Secondly, it is superbly fitted out with all the necessary amenities - the main room (most of the ground floor) has excellent air conditioning; the exterior is beautifully landscaped with a cracking pool and all well-maintained. Finally, the owner, Jacqueline Fournier, was great to deal with and contactable by email and phone from first enquiry and throughout our stay...having said that we didn't need her input as Christine Hulne, who looks after the property locally, provides great local service and back-up if needed (we were unfortunate enough to arrive the day after a monstrous thunder-storm had fried all the audio-visual and internet kit but Christine sorted it all as quickly as could be expected and with great good humour). We passed a wonderful week and would not hesitate to recommend the property to any prospective renters.

We were so pleased to find this lovely home in just the perfect location for our family vacation. We woke up every morning to breathtaking views and a fabulous patio to enjoy them. Each room has a way of incorporating the outdoors into it and we found this delightful. The home was comfortably furnished in a very relaxing way. The proximity to Lorgues was perfect for us, with so many other sights within easy driving distance...Saint Tropez, Nice, the Grand Canyon, Hyéres...Jacqueline was completely responsive to all our questions and needs. We definitely plan to return as soon as our schedule will allow!

Wir hatten einen rundum tollen Urlaub und haben den Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen. Obwohl wir aufgrund der Bilder schon hohe Erwartungen hatten, waren wir von dem wunderschönen Blick über das Tal und dem tollen gepflegten Garten überwältigt. Das Haus ist sehr schön und genau wie beschrieben. Gleiches gilt für den schönen großen Pool. Positiv überrascht waren wir von der für ein Ferienhaus außergewöhnlich guten Ausstattung, es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Der Kontakt mit unserer Gastgeberin Jacqueline war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Bereits einige Zeit vor der Anreise erhielten wir eine ausführliche Nachricht mit den wichtigsten Infos zum Haus, Anfahrtsbeschreibung und Tipps zur Umgebung. Danach blieben wirklich keine Fragen mehr offen. Wir hoffen, dass wir bald wieder kommen dürfen!

La Passiflore ist ein grossartiges Anwesen, mit einem tollen Haus und Pool, eingebettet in einen wunderschönen Garten mit atemberaubender Aussicht auf das schöne Lorgue, das grüne Tal und das Massif des Maures. Die Eigentümerin ist eine bemerkenswerte Gastgeberin und Gestalterin: Das Anwesen fliesst, bietet wunderschöne Plätze zum Verweilen, Innen wie Außen, ist grosszügig geplant und sicher zu allen Jahreszeiten bemerkenswert. Unvergessen die Zeit unter der Hochplatane, der Blick vom Pool ins Tal, die lauen Nächte auf den verschiedenen Terassen, der Spass beim Boulespielen, der Blick aus den Schlafzimmern, die Freude beim Kochen in dieser toll ausgestatteten Villa. Auch Lorgues hat uns begeistert, wo Jacqueline ein schönes Cafe/Restaurant eröffnet hat. Die Chateaus in der Nähe sind allesamt einen kleinen Ausflug wert. Ein perfekter Ort für einen grossartigen Urlaub. Vielen Dank an Jacqueline!

We had a fantastic week in villa La Passiflore. The house is situated in the hills behind Lorgues with a fantastic view over the city and the mountains and only 15min walking distance to the village center. We enjoyed the the outdoor space very much, the pool is large and from here you can enjoy the view and behind the house there is a petanque court with light in the evening. House was clean and owner was very helpful responding fast to any questions. We would definitely consider renting the house again.

Tout au bout du petit chemin, au bord d'une immense pinède, nous avons découvert la Passiflore, accrochée à la colline, et sa vue magnifique sur le lointain massif des Maures. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Jacqueline, qui gère directement sa propriété avec autant de soin que de bienveillance, au plus grand profit des occupants. Le logement est d'une propreté impeccable, décoré avec goût et parfaitement équipé, jusqu'aux consommables qui sont à disposition. La piscine et le jardin sont entretenus régulièrement par des professionnels. Nous avons bien apprécié la salle à manger d'été et son barbecue ainsi que le vrai terrain de pétanque éclairé (boules fournies). Nous avons même pu garer et recharger notre voiture à l'abri d'un appentis devant l'entrée. Que demander de plus ?

My wife and I have just spent two weeks in this gorgeous house and we absolutely loved it. The location is perfect and it is clear that the owners truly love their property. It is clean, all details considered and very well equipped. Everything one would want to find, is there. Walking distance to the town of Lorgues for drinks, restaurants and the wonderful Tuesday market. The villa has a dominant position on the hillside with stunning views over the Var countryside. The garden and pool area is absolutely magnificent, gorgeous plants and a real haven of peace and tranquility. A beautiful long pool. The whole process of booking was a true pleasure. The owner is charming as is the Lady (Christine) who handles arrivals and takes care of the house. We can highly recommend this villa and can't wait to return.

Schon bei unserer Ankunft waren wir von dem atemberaubenden Ausblick verzaubert. Wir haben hier 2 Wochen lang einen wunderschönen Urlaub mit einer herrlichen Ruhe genossen. Das Grundstück ist terrassenförmig angelegt und bietet vielerlei Möglichkeiten zum Verweilen an. Außerdem kann man Boule spielen oder den Pool genießen. Das Haus ist mit allen erdenklichen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet; es fehlt an nichts. Bei Fragen kann man Christine jederzeit anrufen, aber auch die Besitzerin, Jacqueline, ist erreichbar. Falls man mit dem Hund anreisen sollte, das Grundstück ist vollständig umzäunt und der nahegelegene Wald bietet viele Wanderwege an. Lorgues ist ziemlich zentral gelegen, sodass man im Umkreis eine Menge unternehmen kann. Empfehlen möchten wir das kleine Dorf Le Vieux-Cannet, auf dem Weg nach Le Luc. Auch von dort hat man einen herrlichen Blick in die Umgebung. Wir haben in einem, in der Nähe gelegen, Weingut Wein verkostet und natürlich auch gekauft. Bei unserer Ankunft hat uns Christine nämlich eine Flasche dieses Weines als Willkommensgeschenk übergeben. Wir möchten recht herzlich Danke sagen, dass wir unseren Urlaub hier verbringen durften und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Was soll man sagen...……… Die Erwartungen waren schon recht hoch aufgrund der einladenden Bilder. Aber die Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Die Lage und der Ausblick: Wunderschön. Die Terrassen unter freiem Himmel und überdacht: Platz genug für jede Gelegenheit. Das Haus: Sehr gut ausgestattet und gepflegt, wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Zimmer und Bäder: Sehr schön. Der Boule/Pétanque Platz: Reichlich gespielt, mit einem Gläschen Rosé oder einem Pastis, sehr entspannend. Der Pool im September täglich mehrfach genutzt. Lorgues und Umgebung: Mehr als genug Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, viele Weingüter und Wochenmärkte, St.Tropez und die Küste Richtung Frejus viele Bademöglichkeiten, Tourtour, Villecroze, Les Arcs u.v.m. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hoffen in der Zukunft wieder einmal an diesen wunderschönen "Fleck" zurückzukehren. Jacqueline, wann wird der Kalender für 2020 "frei"geschaltet?

Wir haben als Familie einen wundervoll entspannten Urlaub in dieser stilvollen Villa verbracht. Die Villa ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet mit dem grossen Grundstück und den überdachten Veranden sehr viel Platz für eine Familie. Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt und konnten uns an der fantastischen Aussicht nicht sattsehen. Der Pool ist sehr gross und eignet sich nicht nur zum Planschen sondern auch zum Schwimmen. Der Ort Lorgues ist 10 Gehminuten entfernt und bietet viele Bars und Restaurants sowie Wochen- und Supermärkte. Summa summarum das perfekte Urlaubsdomizil.

Stilvolles Ferienhaus in top Lage, super Aussicht auf Lorgues. Die Ausstattung mit Geräten und Geschirr ist überdurchschnittlich, alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub braucht. Dank Waschmaschine und Trocker kann man am Urlaubsgepäck sparen. Garten und Pool waren top gepflegt. Toll ist die fussläufige Nähe zur Stadt, alles in einer halben Stunde zu erreichen, empfehlenswert ist der Markt am Dienstag. Nette Betreuung durch die Hausbesitzerin und Christine, die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort. In der Umgebung gibt es viele typisch provenzalische Dörfer und genügend Wander- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Wetter war Anfang April entsprechend kühl, in der Sonne konnte man Garten und Terasse aber genießen. Für den Pool wars noch zu frisch, dafür müssen wir unbedingt im Sommer nochmals anreisen.

Ein richtig tolles Haus für einen entspannten Familienurlaub, mit Blick von den Terrassen und vom Pool über eine weite Landschaft. Ausstattung super. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Der tolle und große Pool ist im Herbst doch etwas kühl; hier könnte eine solarthermische Anlage auf dem Dach Wunder wirken.

As soon as you arrive at the house the views hit you - they are fabulous as is the house itself. The house, which is private and not overlooked, is well equipped and well thought out, you have everything you might need. It is also very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The living spaces are bright with views from every window. The aircon is a real bonus in the hot weather too. The wifi signal is excellent. The outdoor space is equally impressive, again it is well thought out and tasteful, there are areas of shade and sun at all times of the day. The covered terrace is where we spent a lot of time, the views are spectacular both day and night! The pool and the garden is undoubtedly one of the best, if not the best, we have seen in over 15 years of renting in France.The garden is beautifully tended to and green which is rare in August in the south of France! Likewise the pool, sparkling clean and lovely and warm from the sun despite being unheated. Jacqueline the owner was so helpful answering all our questions before we arrived and sorting out any problems once we had arrived promptly and efficiently. She wonderfully easy to deal with. Lorgues itself is a lovely place with lots going on during the summer and it has a great market. We can definitely recommend the 'Nuit de Rose' and Chateau Berne for a meal (which is on the other side of the house). Lorgues is easily reached by foot but as it is directly down the hill over uneven ground it might be tricky for older or unsteady people but most would cope I am sure! I really cannot find fault with this house, we had a magical holiday there and we long to return - you can never tire of views like that!!

Wij hebben 2 weken kunnen genieten van dit heerlijke huis. Wat een prachtige locatie en wat hebben wij genoten van het geweldige uitzicht. Het huis was keurig schoon, is voorzien van alle gemakken en straalt één en al gezelligheid uit. De contacten met de verhuurder waren ook zeer prettig. In dit huis komen wij heel graag weer terug!
