Boutique Cottage is a newly built property in 2013 within the cobbled medieval town of Conwy, built within the grounds of a demolished chapel. The property is finished to a high hotel standard throughout with an open plan ground floor leading to a sumptuous master bedroom benefiting from luxurious furnishings and crisp white linen. The second smaller bedroom consists of a further King or two twin beds.

The property was even better than described. There was a very lovely patio, and the area was quiet. Walking distance to restaurants was an added plus as was the nice size parking space. I would highly recommend this property.

This is the second time we have stayed at Knights Rest Cottage. The first time was in 2018 when there were 2 adults and my child was under 10. When I was looking at staying in Conwy this summer, I looked at lots of places but kept coming back to this cottage. It has everything you need and the huge bonus is being able to park in Conwy. You can see the castle walls from the garden and can quickly avoid the summer traffic build up in town by heading down the valley or onto the A55 with ease. Love this place and will definitely be back again.

A lovely modern cottage located a few minutes walk from the shops, cafes and restaurants of Conwy. We really enjoyed our stay here and would happily use this accommodation again. Really handy to have a designated parking space as not all properties in Conwy offer this.

Lovely cottage in fab position within easy walking distance to town but steep hill back, great that it's got its own parking space too Spotless & well kitted out & spacious Easy to contact owner when there, if required Rear patio area is a bonus but it does not have a BBQ which is a shame as we had nice weather & a BBQ would have been a big plus.2 toilets is a plus ! Would definitely recommend

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Knight's Rest in Conwy. The property was spotless, comfortable and well stocked. The pictures don't do it justice. The back patio space was fantastic. The location is perfect to explore Conwy and the surrounding area and sights. Check in and communication with the owner were seamless and easy. It was so nice to have designated parking and a washing machine to use right in the apartment. We would highly recommend this rental and we would definitely rent again if we are in this area.

this is a relatively new build , and so the walls are very thin....... However the place is very attractive , and excellent facilities throughout. It is a well managed place, with very comfortable beds. Only downside, apart from the noise was the floodlights and street lights - the cottages blinds were really not up to the job, which was a shame; we did wonder what it would be like to try to sleep there with the later nights and early sun rising in May , June and July. Great area to visit, car not need to us two, but with children would be an asset.

An absolutely lovely cottage right outside the castle walls. The cottage itself was beautifully presented and clean, with a lovey welcome pack. Comfortable living area with TV and a huge range of DVDs if you needed, a well equipped kitchen and downstairs loo. Very pleasant and comfortable double and twin bedrooms and a lovely spacious bathroom with super shower! Owners made themselves available with quick responses to queries (though we had no issues at all). The location is perfect for exploring Conwy, with all the amenities and attractions in walking distance - bit of a hill climb back but that was no issue for us, especially if you do it on the walls instead of the roads. (The allocated parking space was a bonus for village access too). Quiet area, easy access to Snowdonia, Anglesey and all the other amazing locations in North Wales. An absolutely wonderful stay!

This is a serious find. A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. It is 4-minutes from the Town Centre, 8 from the Castle and is literally next to the town walls. Yet, despite it being so close, it is very peaceful at night. Additional parking nearby too. The cottage is of exceptionally high-quality. Everything was spotless and it is very well equipped. Mark is very welcoming and the property was easy to access. As others have said, there is a very large outside patio with outside dining and it is a real sun-trap. I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough, and I hope to return. A big thank you to Mark!

We loved the property. It is super convenient to downtown and the castle and the harbor. The property provided us all the amenities expected and needed for our family. The welcome basket of goodies was so appreciated. Our only complaint is that Mark never sent us check-in or check-out procedure or instructions so we had to call him to get the lockbox code. We were tired and it was at the end of a long travel day, so it intensified our frustration. The only email that we received was the confirmation email after reserving the property. This property was a place we stayed a week into our trip so we expected to receive an email from Mark before our arrival, as that is how other online vacation rental companies (I. e. Airbnb) do it. We called him and he gave us the lockbox code allowing us to get into the townhouse. Upon our departure, since we had no lockbox code (in the frenzy of our arrival, we did not write the code down and Mark had promised on the phone to follow-up with us the next day, yet we never heard from him) and no checkout procedure, we called Mark repeatedly, waiting for his instructions. We never heard from him until approx 2 hrs. after checkout He had been on a flight to Geneva, so he could not access his phone. We left him a message to indicate that we left the key under the rubbage bin outside the door of the townhouse since we did not know what to do. We had been delaying our departure for another long travel day to our next destination by trying to figure out what to do with his home key. At the end of the day, when we had WiFi again, Mark had texted stating that he was on a flight and was not available to receive our calls. Bottom line, make sure that you receive your checkin and checkout instructions before your arrival. You may need to be more proactive in order to ensure good communication with Mark. He said that he sent these instructions by email, but there was nothing from him to us after the original email confirmation. Like I said from the beginning, the property is wonderful, clean, convenient and comfortable, AND communication could be very much improved to make one’s vacation experience free of anxiety and frustration.

Mark was a superb host from start to finish, answering all of our questions and providing clear directions to Knights Rest. He also gave us some great dining options (Watson’s Bistro is very close and The Cottage Loaf in Llandudno were both excellent). He also provided bread, butter, jam, cereal and Walker’s shortbread to start our stay. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great and the towels were large and soft. We enjoyed sitting on the new deck and enjoying a glass of wine. We so appreciated having the allocated spacious parking spot for our rental car and the very close proximity to Conwy Castle and the town. We would not hesitate to recommend Mark’s property to our friends and family.

Cottage very clean, had everything we needed for a 7 night stay. The patio area has now been extended and was a sunny spot to sit and relax after sightseeing. Excellent to have parking and Conwy well placed to see the area.

Very nice property, good size rooms, own parking, (not common in Conwy) nice sun trap small outside space will be even better when upper level patio is completed. Owner Mark is very attentive to detail, ensuring everything is ok on arrival. The welcome pack is also good because shopping immediately on arrival is not essential. The property is well equipped, good dishwasher, good size fridge/freezer,washing machine, wi-fi etc.

The cottage is in a perfect location to explore Conwy and the surrounding areas and everything you need is included for a self catering break. The property itself is very clean and comfy, you can tell it is well looked after, we enjoyed several nights in just playing games with the kids. Mark and his team were amazingly accomodating! From pre-trip planning to arrival instructions, the communication was spot on. The cottage is very comfortable, having a 2nd half bath downstairs made such a difference when we were all trying to get ready, most cottages/flats we looked at had only 1 bath. If there’s anything missing from the kitchen furnishings, I can’t think what it would be. Didn’t do a lot of cooking but certainly had everything we needed. Plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, cozy lounge area, great WiFi and parking (that’s not common here!). The little fireplace unit put out a lot of heat on a chilly night! We were there for Christmas and they’d even put a little tree in the cottage! Perfectly located, don’t let the “outside the walls” location deter you, it’s right by one of the arches through the town wall and an easy walk. We had previously stayed inside the town walls at another property, this was every bit as convenient. Castle and sheep views from the bedroom! Can’t wait to go back!

We (three of us) stayed at Knights Rest for 7 nights and it was perfect. The beds were so warm and comfortable, the bathroom had a great selection of complimentary toiletries, the bedrooms were spacious, the living area was well set out and kitchen equipped with everything needed for self-catering. A very special touch was the welcome basket to start our holiday (wine, biscuits, cereal etc) and that the owners were there to greet us was very much appreciated. Although we didn't need one, there was a car-park available for guests - something we observed was not available at other nearby holiday places. The accommodation was so handy to the wonderful shops in Conwy and we could see the top turret of the castle wall from the car-park. The walls were just steps away from our place without the inconvenience of wall walkers passing by our accommodation. Knights Rest was peaceful and private, a short walk from transport and shops. Great fish and chips,(Archways was best) wonderful butchery and fantastic vanilla slices, bread, pies etc at the local Popty Bakery. Great variety of souvenir shops without being pushy or over-priced. The Hop-on-off-Bus gave great service, as did local taxi and buses. Everyone was so friendly and genuinely helpful. Special memories include:- walking through the Castle walls to the shops, walking the entire castle wall, catching the train from a 'request stop' (much like hailing a taxi but much more significance) enjoying a meal on the wharf-front, the special buildings (from the smallest house in UK to one of the oldest Elizabethan houses) and most of all, the people who passed the time of day, in the shops and as we walked. Very special memories of a very special holiday, based from Knights Rest. Thank you.

We had a most enjoyable stay at Knights Rest for six nights. Apart from some minor things that need attention (see below), there were no complaints as the cottage was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. The location was ideal just outside of the city walls and a five minute walk to the High Street with all the shops and restaurants. The designated parking spot was also a big bonus. A few things that need to be fixed. Firstly the oven needs a good clean and smoke from previous spillages continually set off the alarm. Some additional glasses are required especially reasonable size wine glasses. Light bulbs need to be checked and those that are not working replaced and finally the tap in the kitchen needs some attention.
