Calm and cozy place close to lake Orta

We had a wonderful stay.

The room has a vintage flair but was clean and functional. The kitchen has all you need. There is a nice place outside the room to sit in the evening.

There is no TV. The bathroom is outside the room.

A beautiful Italian gem in Lake Orta

The apartments are in a very beautiful old Italian building/ monastery in a village next to the church. Large rooms with a kitchenette, balcony and bathroom. Massimo was a perfect host - super friendly and helpful, giving us directions to restaurants, shops and sight-seeing spots. We had a lovely 3 days here enjoying different beaches and cooking in the huge downstairs kitchen for our group of 7. I would highly recommend Casa Clerici and Lake Orta!

Massimo was a really friendly host! The room and the whole building is very charming. Lovely view from the little balcony. I can totally recommend staying there :-)

Good stayover while driving through the Piedmont region

The location was great, and the property was for the most part, as described. Massimo was very friendly, and also gave some information on where to eat and about boats on Lake Orta. Our room had a tiny window with a view of the lake, and free parking was down across the road, with panoramic views of the lake. The property has shared balconies on the first and second floors, also with views of the lake. Our dogs were welcome here, and it was good value for money.

Just the technicalities of the property description: While the description mentions a WC with a bidet in each room, we weren't expecting the private bathroom outside the room. Also, while there is a common patio and a lovely garden, our room specifically didn't have a garden facing window.

Es war sehr schön. Wäre noch schöner mit einem einem Auto/E-bike.

Das Haus liegt in einem sehr schönen Dorf mit Aussicht auf schöne Berge und den See. Man ist schnell in den Wald zum Wandern. Es ist sehr ruhig dort und man kann sich richtig gut erholen. Der Host, Massimo, ist ein sehr netter Mensch und ist immer erreichbar wenn man ihn braucht.

Im Haus ist das Touchkochherd ziemlich anstrengend zu bedienen. Kaffee zu machen war nicht immer easy. Ausserdem es gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Dorf selbst. Deswegen ist es besser wenn man ein Auto oder Ebike hat, damit man schnell nach Omegna gehen kann zum Einkaufen/Essen/Trinken, etc.

Carina, ma pensavamo meglio

La struttura è molto carina, all’interno di una palazzina ristrutturata. Il proprietario è stato davvero gentile con noi.

Per quanto la stanza avesse un mini bagno al suo interno, il bagno principale era all’esterno dalla camera. Questo significava dover andare al bagno la mattina o la sera con il giubbotto, e non è stato particolarmente comodo. Rileggendo l’annuncio in inglese si indicava la presenza di un bagno anche all’esterno, ma pensavamo fosse all’esterno della camera, ma in un corridoio. Con una bimba piccola non è stato molto comodo. L’auto va lasciata in un parcheggio poco distante, ma non è possibile parcheggiare sotto la struttura. Quindi con la pioggia e le valigie non è stato particolarmente comodo.
