We stayed in the Garden Suite which had a lovely verandah with seating and dining areas overlooking the beautiful gardens. The gardens were outstanding and filled with birdlife which enhanced our stay. It was great to sit out in the morning sun and watch so many types of birds flitting past. Across the river we could see walkers, runners and joggers passing by. We really appreciated the breakfast supplies and also the port and biscuits provided which was an unexpected treat.
There weren’t any complaints.

Everything we needed plus more was provided. Thoughtful touches like a night light and extra mirror and blankets. The food and beverage provisions were above and beyond anything we’ve previously experienced. The gardens were quiet and beautiful.

This quaint historic cottage offered full kitchen/lounge, plus bedroom and comfortable queen bed. Heather and Graham made us feel very welcome, taking time out to show us around their beautiful garden.

Quaint charm. Lovely gardens. Supplied a delicious breakfast for us to cook up! Spacious cottage!
One of the bedrooms is in the same room as the front door. Not ideal. Need to improve check in process to ensure mix ups don’t happen.
