I could not leave my bag in the reception before for just 2 hours before the check in, staff was not friendly, they charged me extra 40% of the reservation just because there was a little blood stain on the bad sheet due to a cut I had in my leg

Good value for money

Staff is great and we had parking available which saved us, considering the neighbourhood where it's not easy to park. The atmosphere in general is very positive and the room is pretty good value for money.

The beds had dirty sheets, and we asked for the extra sheets later to cover those.

The best staff I've seen, and I travelled quite a bit. Good wifi, close to the beach, great breakfast. Also good parking spot, which is hard to find in the area

Nice place in a good location, with kind staff and lots of things to do nearby.

Despite being located on a badly paved road, the location was great, and the neighbourhood is safe, fun, and people are very kind and nice. Staff were very friendly and kind, the room incredibly spacious.

I was a bit disappointed that there was no breakfast at the day of my departure and I had not been informed about this. It struck me as strange. Also, I had the luxury of a big balcony but with no furniture. It would have been nice with just a chair and a table out there.

Good amenities and location, but staff a bit rude and uninterested

Amenities in the room, balcony, wardrobe, shampoo and soap provided. Location, close to bars, restaurants etc and 10min walk from beach. The road looks a bit dodgy, but turns out it's very safe!

Staff asked us to pay for shampoo dispenser in the shower which we hadn't broken. They insisted and then we rested it in place like it had been done before we moved into the room and they said we don't have to pay anymore. Not a great approach towards staff. Loud music in the surrounding area until 4-5am every night, prepare to stay up! Mattress has plastic wrapping (anti-pee?) which makes you sweat a lot and makes noises when moving around in the bed.

Good

Breakfast is really huge. Lots of foods and beverages. On Saturday they put on the shelf two cakes. They were simply yummy. The location is very good. The place is close to the main street where you'll find almost every thing you want.

In all the time I spent there the room wasn't well cleaned up. I spend a week at the hostel and in only one day the maid showed up to clean the room. The hostel hadn't queen-sized sheets to wear the mattress. After I've asked again for new one, the staff brought me another single-sized sheet and I myself put 2 of them on the bed. Ok, I should reckon hostel wasn't with its full working force on account of covid 19 pandemic, but they could be better.

Very good

We had a very comfortable stay at Pontal do Duque. Its amenities are very complete with AC, a good breakfast with lots of options, friendly staff and a useful balcony. Its located five minutes walking from the beaches and an Itaú bike will bring you anywhere. Great stay for great value!

Since we didn't like to drink water from the tap, we got water from a nearby supermarket. Unfortunately the closest supermarket never had water on stock, but another one luckily had. The dirt road in front of the hostel always held some water you had to walk along.

La verdad que había 1 persona que marcó la diferencia y nos hizo sentir cómodos la administradora

Fui con bebe y no tenían agua caliente, no tenían tazas solo vasos plásticos. La ubicación no era muy buena para andar con niños y las toallas estaban muy usadas y las personas de la recepción no fueron amables.

A cama estava avariada. Ela fazia uma curva fazendo um "U" o que ocasionou dificuldade para dormir. Os lençóis não eram confortáveis, necessitam de lençóis de algodão, pois, não "pinicam".

Localização bem próxima ao posto 12. Comércio local funciona até tarde, conseguimos refeição por volta das 23h.

Não há clareza nas informações sobre café da manhã. Reservas pelo booking não dão direito a café, segundo funcionária da recepção. Dias antes, perguntei pelo whatsapp se havia cobrança extra ou taxa e um funcionário informou que não havia nenhum tipo de taxa. Faltou luz na manhã de domingo, a luz não havia voltado, então fizemos check-out.

A cama da suíte em que fiquei estava em péssima condições, havia literalmente um buraco enorme no meio da cama impedindo deitar confortável. As roupas de cama também preciso ser renovadas, todas muito velhas e horríveis O piso do chão completamente oco e alguns quebrados, tendo risco de corte.

Minha estadia não contemplava café da manhã na minha estadia. Não posso avaliar. Gostei da possibilidade de colocar o carro no estacionamento que é limitado pelo tamanho.

As roupas de cama não estavam limpas, havia marcas se sujeira e cheiro de uso. Haviam pequenas baratas e o chão não estava limpo. Entrada precisa de limpeza e elevador de manutenção.

A atendente que nos recebeu foi muito educada e solícita, nos passando as informações e tirando dúvidas sobre a acomodação. O elevador deu problema e até o nosso check-out não tinha voltado. Mas o ponto que nos chamou a atenção foi o lençol que não estava totalmente limpo. Pode ser observado uma melhor limpeza das roupas de cama. Mas o hostel é bem localizado, próximo a praia, mercado, depósito e fácil acesso. Pretendo voltar mais vezes e ter uma experiência melhor.
