Apartment Roko

Közel volt mindenhez, még is csendes helyen volt a vár alatt !

Talán Mikrót tehettek volna bele, de egyébként minden más meg volt ! Tiszta , tágas, jól felszerelt !

We had a fabulous stay at Apartment Roko. The hosts are lovely and the drinks and food in their restaurant was delicious. I can highly recommend this apartment.

From the ease of picking up the key to the escorted walk through cobbled street's to our appartment, everything went smoothly. The beds were so comfortable, the pillows right size, the appartment spotless, and our hostess was amazing. Underneath was a restaurant, but any noise was so well blocked we didn't hear a thing and got a great night sleep. As for our hostesses restaurant downstairs called Arsana Tasting House, check out Google review.... 5 stars and great traditional cooking made all with locally sourced products and a TON of flavour.....not to be missed.

Couldn't fault anything

We were a group of 8 adults and 1 child and booked 2 apartments - 1 on the ground floor and one on the 1st floor. The sunny terrace on the ground floor apartment was really lovely, we really liked the ground floor apartment, it was very clean, well equipped, and has a great location and view of the fortress at nighttime. We really enjoyed our stay there. If you are choosing Roko Apartments definitely choose the ground floor apartment it is really nice. In general I would say that both apartments (1st floor and ground floor apartments) could be excellent for a large group, however there is more attention to detail in the ground floor apartment and the sunny terrace is a real bonus. Strangely the ground floor apartment is slightly cheaper than the 1st floor apartment, even though the former is by far the nicer place. The location is excellent, you are just a short walk from the old town and the people at Active Holiday Agency (Kate in particular) were really friendly and helpful.

We were a group of 8 adults and 1 child and booked 2 apartments - 1 on the ground floor and one on the 1st floor. The ground floor apartment really is lovely and was perfect for our group of 4. However, friends who stayed in the apartment on the first floor were not as happy with their place. There was mould in the bathroom, when they complained about it, it took days to be cleaned, the shower cabinet door was broken so the bathroom floor was flooded after showering, they only received small hand towels upon arrival, not large bathroom towels like we received in the ground floor apartment, and the kitchen in the 1st floor apartment was not as well equipped as in the ground floor apartment. There were toys in the 1st floor apartment and when the 4-year old brought them down to the ground floor apartment to play with them we were scolded by the owner. In general, the impression was that the 1st floor apartment was not cleaned as well as the ground floor apartment and when we complained to the owner about this, she seemed quite annoyed. Note that the apartments are in a residential area so you are not allowed to play music or chat loudly after 11 pm, so if you're a more boisterous group you should consider other accommodation.
