The apartment was centrally located in the historic area most suitable for tourists. The access card was picked up from the Hotel which also owns the apartment.

Check-in is quick and easy at the hotel (from 4pm), which is just a 5-minute walk from the apartment. A great bonus is that you can store your luggage at the hotel after check-out if you have a later flight. Multiple aparents jeys provided as they are similar to hotel room cards- v handy. The spacious 2-bedroom apartment is perfectly located in the heart of the city, with three restaurants directly below, creating a lively atmosphere right outside the door. Despite this, the bedrooms are situated at the rear of the property and are remarkably quiet. As a light sleeper, I was amazed that I couldn't hear any noise - not even the nearby church bells. Wi-fi was good. The thoughtful extras really stood out, including bathrobes and slippers in both bedrooms, plenty of towels, and generous supplies of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet roll and hand soap. Basic kitchen cleaning supplies were also provided, which was very convenient. The location couldn't be better, with shops, restaurants and attractions all on your doorstep. I highly recommend Restaurant VII next door.

The toilet being in the shower! A minor detail. Lack of information in the apartment. Not even a map. While AI & Google have their uses, local insider recommendations are always a great touch.

Location. Stone wall in one bedroom. Ample closet space. The apartment was quiet even though we were only one floor above a busy square with restaurants and bars on the ground level of our building.

There were a few odd things about this rental. We were charged a damage deposit of more than the price (for one night’s stay), and yet some of the furnishings were cheap and flimsy. For example, the legs of the nesting coffee tables need to be screwed in more tightly. As is they are unstable and fragile. The living room rug is worn and a tripping hazard; also not really in keeping with the rest of the decor. There should be a toilet paper holder in the toilet area. Also the shower and toilet being combined is odd. Maybe for one couple it would be acceptable. But for two couples sharing a 2 BR apt it was untenable. Although it was nice to have the terrace, it should be clear on the booking information that it is an “interior” terrace with no view. The unit we were given did not match the photo on Booking.com (in the section where it said “choose your room”), and I found that misleading.
