About this house rental
A beautifully renovated 3-bedroom character property in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, with its own private heated indoor swimming pool. Carefully restored while retaining its original stone walls and exposed beams, the house combines traditional French charm with modern comfort.
The real highlight is the 7m x 3.2m indoor pool, heated all year round to 28°C, so you can enjoy a swim whatever the weather. The spacious pool area has sun loungers and seating for relaxing, while a large sliding glass door opens directly onto a private terrace — particularly atmospheric in the evening when the terrace is illuminated.
The comfortable separate lounge has a cosy wood-burning stove, while the modern kitchen includes a generous dining area perfect for relaxed meals together. There is a very spacious bedroom on the ground floor, and the two bedrooms upstairs each benefit from their own en-suite shower room.
The house is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of western France. You are right in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, with its peaceful canals, picturesque villages and beautiful countryside. Hire a traditional boat or canoe, explore the waterways at your own pace, or discover the area by bicycle, stopping at cafés and villages along the way.
A popular restaurant can be found in the village, with local shops, markets and amenities nearby. The historic abbey at Maillezais is just a few kilometres away, while Fontenay-le-Comte offers a wider range of shops and restaurants.
For a day further afield, discover the historic port city of La Rochelle, the sandy beaches of the Vendée coast, or the lively seaside resort of Les Sables-d'Olonne.

Belle maison en pierre et au calme
La piscine a été tres tres appréciée sous cette vague de chaleur que la france a vecu cette semaine
La seule chose qui nous a gêné se sont les deux lits de la chambre du bas dont la literie est a revoir
