We highly recommend staying and parking right at the castle. It was so convenient. We took some spectacular photos of the castle at the lookout point just when the sun was setting and the crowds were gone. The castle and grounds are well maintained and organized. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious! Our hotel room had vaulted ceilings and was quite spacious and there was even a chandelier in the sizeable bathroom! We were very comfortable.
I think the castle and grounds are better suited for kids over 10 years old since there wasn't places for playing. My husband was recovering from an injury and thus it would have been nice has there been benches to rest since the tour can be quite long and there were a lot of stairs.

A magical location. Hotel was great, comfortable and clean but the location within the castle grounds just blew us away.
