    Take the word “resort “ with a pinch of salt. Everything is a resort here. We booked this hotel to be able to enjoy some great views. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t help with winds and storm at night. Otherwise, you could have great views. In saying that, you can enjoy some views from many many other places because these are hill tops. The access to the resort is isolated and scary for the first time travellers. There was an electrical cable dangling across the road (private road in f the resort)and but for the kindness and bravery of our taxi driver, we wouldn’t have got there. There was nothing worth the name around this place. Once you are there, you are at their mercy and use their meagre facilities to eat, etc. You may be struggling if there is any emergency. Consider transportation cost as well. You get what is offered to you by the hotel, no other choice. I paid NPR3000 to get to Bhaktapur. I must say, the driver was good. Wifi hardly worked anywhere. So we were left without any connectivity. Almost the entire night there was no light and the hotel didn’t have any generator. I couldn’t charge my phone as well. There was construction all over. The approach to the room was unsafe and shabby. The room was just ok but highly priced. Bed was very uncomfortable. Thankfully, the staff turned the heater on which made life easier for us. We had Nepali thali which was quite ordinary. We had included breakfast but no buffet available. When we arrived for the breakfast, all the staff and construction workers were scattered around having tea or stuff. All of them immediately folded. We were shown the menu which they said was available for us. Eventually, we settled on bread, butter and jam. We asked for some fruits and were given 3 tiny apples, which were rotten. We were given one orange. The staff were good. They tried to help us as much but other things were in a mess. A forgettable experience with this over priced hotel.

    We had been there for one night stand. If Anyone wants to see the Himalayas from bed room window. This is the place. Highly recommended.

    The view from the hotel is top notch. You can touch the clouds. We visited in Monsoon, but still we could see the Himalayan range even though it was cloudy and foggy. Full of greenary and staffs are friendly. And food is fresh and tasty.
