Impressive duplex, trees view on square opposite, sunny, right in the Paris center and fashionable districts. Luxury Apartment

We stayed at the Gauger residence in late June of 2019. The apartment is wonderful - very large, with four nicely sized bedrooms, including a wonderful master suite. The fully appointed kitchen is brand new and the dining and living rooms are large enough to hold 7/8 people without feeling cramped. The high ceilings add to the spaciousness of the residence. The apartment looks out onto a small park, which adds to the charm of the home. The residence is located in a wonderful section of Paris - similar to that of the upper east or west sides of NYC. We were able to get groceries, coffee and dinner all within a few minutes walk from the apartment. The subway stop is a short walk from the apartment, but walking to the major sites in Paris is reasonable. (Our families walked to the Arc de Triumph, Opera House and Eiffel Tower on our first few days in Paris, but switched to the subway to save time later on during our stay.) Also, if you are planning on visiting Normandy, the Gare St. Lazare train station is about a five minute walk from the apartment making a day trip to the area very easy. In short, the residence is very conveniently located. I would also add that we visited Paris during a tremendous heat wave and the apartment stayed cool and comfortable even without air-conditioning . I would highly recommend staying at the Gauger residence when you visit Paris.

my extended family of seven spent a glorious week in this apartment. it is an amazingly large duplex, with fourteen foot heigh ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and is furnished with comfortable sofas, chairs and a large dining room to sit and enjoy a quick meal or work at (if necessary). The bedrooms were more than sufficient for our group and we did take advantage of the washers and dryers to clean our clothes. The apartment is walking distance to everything - the Champs Elysee, the Opera House and there are literally scores of restaurants within a two minute walk in any direction, along with grocery stores and bakeries. The owner Gerard was very responsive before our trip met us at the apartment to make sure we knew how everything worked. This is a magnificent apartment and exceeded our expectations.
