Camping Acapulco

Really cute place, had a bar and restaurant, close enough to the center so we could walk (and not pay parking)

A bit noisy in the morning, quite some noise from all the cars and people

Stayed in one of the bungalows, location and facilities are great, highly recommended place to stay as a base to visit the north east of Sardinia

Only negative was the bathroom entrance which is really not made for people taller than 1.80m, could easily be fixed

The camping is located in the bay area of Palau. I has its own small beaches with huge rocks. The camping is mostly visited by campers, as they can park almost on the beach and enjoy a fantastic view over the sea. At the top of the camping you will find a good quality restaurant that is air conditioned. From here you have almost a 360 degrees view over the bay area. Take you camera and take that great sunset picture.

We booked ourselves one of the cheap and cheerful small houses with the red roofs. The house are indeed VERY small. You enter the room which is almost completely filled up with the double bed and a small refrigerator. One window, that is so high placed that you can not look through it. I am 1.93 so trust me, you cannot. Through a small door you enter the bathroom (don't bump you head as it the door opening is low. The house is hot, very hot to sleep in and has no air conditioning! Due to the 1 window, there is hardly any air circulation, so you will need to leave the front door open. Temperatures well over 40 degrees in the house. But you cannot leave the door open, cause you will get eaten alive by the musquitos. We should have thought twice before we booked this house.
