Settle into Summit County for a season instead of a weekend. This furnished 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home in Wildernest is set up for stays of a month or longer: ski-season leases, relocations, remote work, travel assignments, and project crews. Local regulations set a 30-night minimum, so the neighborhood stays quiet and you get a real home rather than a rotating cast of weekend renters next door.
PRIVATE HOT TUB, AND DOGS ARE GENUINELY WELCOME
Soak under the stars after a powder day, and bring up to two dogs - no pet fee games, no "small dogs only" rules. Together, those two things are why most of our guests choose us over a condo in town.
ROOM FOR EVERYONE, IN REAL BEDS
Ten guests sleep in four real bedrooms: a king in the upstairs loft, three queens in the three downstairs bedrooms, and a bunk room with a twin bunk above the queen plus a twin trundle underneath - great for kids or a crew. No fold-out couches. One thing to know before you book: the king bedroom is the upper-level loft, up a flight of stairs from the great room. It is private and enclosed, but it is a loft, and we would rather you picture it correctly now than be surprised at check-in. Two full bathrooms plus a half bath keep mornings civil, and a full-size washer and dryer are in the unit.
BUILT FOR ACTUALLY LIVING HERE
Vaulted great room with a wood-burning fireplace, and we keep firewood stacked on the back patio for you. Full kitchen with dishwasher, gas grill on the deck, high-speed WiFi, smart TVs, and a dedicated desk with an external monitor and a proper desk chair for anyone working remotely. Two parking spots come with the home.

Hiking and mountain-biking trails start across the street. Keystone is 12 minutes, Breckenridge 23, Copper and A-Basin a short drive, and Dillon Reservoir is 4 minutes away for summer paddling and fishing. Groceries, the outlets, restaurants, and Angry James Brewery are all about 5 minutes down the hill. Denver is roughly 90 minutes when the weather cooperates.

We rented for four weeks. Our stay was wonderful. Easy access to all the ski areas in Summit County. The hiking trails that are across the street were also wonderful. We had our dogs with us and they so enjoyed hiking the trails. The host left snowshoes which we also enjoyed. The yummy snacks were also appreciated! Thank you for such an enjoyable month!

My wife and I stayed for a month in the summer for a working vacation. The place was close to hiking, golf and town which was perfect for us. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay again!

This property is ideal for those that don't require ski-in/out and still want to enjoy Summit County and the surrounding area. Very spacious, out of the way of traffic, but close enough to Breck/Keystone/A-Basin and a short ride to Copper. Plenty of room to sleep 10 people easy, more if you like air mattresses and couches. Grill works like a champ and the kitchen is well equipped, Keurig and all. Owner was prompt and very communicative and handles the property well. I would definitely use this location for a group of 5 or more again. Thank you to Peter for enabling a wonderful family Christmas Vacation.
