About this chalet rental
The chalet is detached with garden surrounding. It is conveniently located on a quiet road on the outskirts of Morzine, with breathtaking views of the mountains and the village. It is a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Morzine, in the friendly area "Les Grangettes", with its charming original farms and newer chalets. It is in a perfect location: from the house you walk into the meadows and the forest and make beautiful walks. The house is modern and has a cozy warm atmosphere, is beautifully built and spacious. It is a perfect home for families or a group of friends who want to enjoy an active holiday in the mountains.
There are four bedrooms, three bathrooms (one en-suite), and a sauna with shower cubicle. The open kitchen adjoins the living room and dining room. The room is bright and cozy, with a fireplace and there is a breathtaking view of the Alps from each window.

Ground floor: entrance hall; Spacious garage with table tennis table; Sauna and shower; Separate room with washer and dryer; Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
First floor: open living space; Large dining area; Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and lounge with fireplace (firewood included); TV, DVD / Blu-ray player (with a large collection of movies) and radio + iPod dock; Double bedroom; Bathroom with bath and shower; separate toilet.
Second floor: bedroom with double bed; Bedroom with two single beds; Large bathroom with bath and shower; separate toilet.
Outside: There is a large terrace behind the house with lounge bar, umbrella and outdoor shower. On both sides of the house is a balcony with a picnic table. There are three private parking spaces.
The village:
Morzine is a busy, cozy and pleasant village with a good supermarket, nice shops and a large village square where many activities take place. Every Monday there is a meet-and-greet with live music. Morzine has many bars and restaurants, cozy terraces, a cinema and a disco.
Activities:
Too much to mention: Nearby you can make beautiful walks, some of which are right from the house. In Morzine is a large sports park with an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, skating rink, riding school, running and trim course, gym and trees. Near the house is a second, larger trees course with a long cableway over the waterfall. For cyclists there is also plenty to experience: both mountain bikers and sports cyclists are turning off many routes around Morzine. There are also many possibilities for rafting and paragliding in the area. In the nearby Les Gets there is a golf course.
Further farther from Montriond (15 minutes by car), where you can fish and swim. The old town of Annecy is an hour's drive and is located on the same lake.

Airport: The nearest airport is Geneva, 1.5 hours drive.
Train: Trains stop at Cluses or Thonon, a 3/4 hour ride from Morzine.
