The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from Island City Mall. The hotel restaurant was also excellent. We used it for both breakfast and main meals, finding the food quality and pricing better than most nearby options, which tend to cater more toward takeaway.
The noise level was a major issue. The wall-mounted air conditioner transmitted sound clearly, including traffic and videoke noise, well into the night, often until around 1:30 a.m (and sometimes more than 1 videoke going simultaneously somewhere). Then, early in the morning from about 6:00 a.m., street vendors using loudspeakers added to the disturbance. Overall, it made getting consistent rest difficult.
