About this villa rental
Villa San Martino is a beautiful villa located on a hilltop of a small village of Martinski, on the east side of the Istrian Peninsula. The Villa has a heated private 33 m2 (9.5x3.5m) pool, comfortable indoor space for 8 guests and is surrounded by beautiful nature.
Situated on a hill, this Villa overlooks the countryside, vineyards, sea and the mountains. The property is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday with family and friends in 180 m2 of indoor living space, featuring 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Large beds (3) measure 180 x 200 cm, and single beds (2) measure 90 x 200 cm. All 4 bedrooms have air-conditioning.
The kitchen is fully equipped including large refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, regular coffee machine and toaster. The interior is air-conditioned and the property is covered with Wi-Fi. One of the best features is the outdoor patio and grill area where you can prepare delicious meals while watching the kids play in the pool and enjoying the outdoors. The surrounding houses are situated far enough to ensure privacy. Villa San Martino is ideal for family gatherings, as well as getaways with your friends.
Note about the pool: The pool is heated to between May and September. In order for the temperature to hold, guest is responsible to keep the cover on the pool when not using it.
The area around Martinski is full of vineyards and beautiful countryside, ideal for long walks and bike rides. The Villa is located 10 km from Labin, an old Venetian town full of art galleries, restaurants and café bars. Labin has an open market with the best selection of local produce, cheese, wine, fresh meat and fish. The beautiful pebble beaches and crystal clear waters of Rabac are 13 km away, where you can enjoy a variety of water sports including scuba diving, jet skiing, sailing or daily excursions to nearby islands. A couple of other places worth visiting on the Istrian peninsula within 50 km is the old town Rovinj and Pula with the famous Roman Amphitheater.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa San Marino.
It is a superb place in a very quiet area. It is so peaceful, it would be hard not to relax there.
The pool and outside space is perfect for the whole family to enjoy fun and games. While it is large enough to have space to sit and read / Sunbathe, Cook and eat.
We met the owners while we were there and they could not of been more helpful with any questions or queries we had.
We had a fabulous holiday there and would highly recommend.

We stayed for 2 weeks in Villa San Martino, and enjoyed it very much.
We were a Family of 6 - age 73, 52, 50, 47, 19, 15.
Already from the initial interaction with the owners we felt very welcome and all through the booking process they were very responsive to all of our questions.
It was our first time in Croatia, and the owners helped us with everything from finding the best restaurants to guidance us to the Beach and even creating cycle-routes for me to ride.
The House is absolutely beautiful and very clean and well maintained.
The outdoor/poolarea is amazing, as is the outdoor kitchen and eating Area.
The Villa is located in a remote and quiet Area in the hills, and there is a 10min drive to get to Labin, and an additional 5-10min to get to the Beach in Rabac.
We found the peace and quiet very nice, but there is not much to do in terms of city-life, restaurants, shopping etc. For that you need to drive to one of the larger cities.
We are happy to give both the Villa and the owners our highest recommendations, and would love to come back.

Het huis was schoon en comfortabel. Alles in het huis aanwezig. De omgeving rustig. Auto heb je nodig in deze imgeving. De eigenaresse is betrokken en indien nodig behulpxaam. Stranden en leuke plaatsen zoals Rabac en Labin dichtbij.
