The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable few days stay in Zadar. Marija our host was quick to answer any questions and resolved2 issues very quickly. The location was great for walking into the old city and for getting out to explore the surrounding area. We needed a place with parking so this apartment worked well. 2 things I wasn’t aware of (maybe because I didn’t read the description well enough) there is no AC in the bedroom. It happened to be cool enough at night and there are AC units in the other 2 rooms. The photo I first saw promoting the apartment showed trees and water so I thought there was garden around the apartment which there wasn’t. Would stay here again. issues

I couldn't have wished for more, the place looked great and had everything we needed. Checking in and out was really easy. The air-conditioning was very refreshing. We had a great view from all windows and from the balcony. Also the communication with the owner was all easy and friendly. All in all we had a super stay!!

Wow!!! What an amazing place to stay this was. More than exceeded expectations. Area and location of accommodation was perfect. Only a 10 minute walk to the old town, walking along the yachts moored up with lovely cafes and bars on route. The apartment was very modern with comfortable beds. facilities and everything you need for a self catering stay. Brand new samsung washing machine and lovely jet shower. The view from all the windows and balcony were amazing with great outdoor furniture to sit out with your morning coffee. Only thing missing was a toaster. The town its self is amazingly historic with the pebble beach close by. Again just a 10 -15 minute flat walk. Lots of Italian influences in and around the city and restaurants served all the food ypu would eant to al a carte to pastries. All in all a great stay thats well worth the daily rate. We will be back !!

Well eqipped apartment with a wonderful view over the port and the city, spacious kitchen and loving room with air con. We stayed with 4 people (the couch offers enough space for 2 and is very comfortable). City center and supermarket close by (10 min walking distance), city beaches 15 min. The location of the apartment and the views are fantastic. Parking is available but do know it’s tight spots and not guaranteed, which is common. A relief if you can snag a spot to park as you really do not need transportation to get to everything you’ll want to see. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets from the apartment. The only negative is we had an unfortunate experience our first night at the apartment. We were awoken at 4:00am by someone trying to get into the apartment. After 3 hours, he finally left. We told him multiple times he had the wrong apartment but he was insistent in his efforts to get in. We had no way to phone the police, so we just waited it out. Our host, Marija, did respond after it was resolved, she investigated it and followed up to let us know this person was just an intoxicated guest of the neighbor. This was an unnerving experience to say the least. Also, it absolutely is no reflection of Marija. The building is secure, you need a code to enter; however when the door is consistently left propped open, there is no security. Unfortunately because of this experience, we would be hesitant to stay again.

marija's apartment is perfect. if you are going to be in zadar, you do not need to look for any where else!1.location. it is located outside the old town zadar. and a short walking distance to old town, marina, and a beach with all the amenities such as shower, toilet, jumping platform, beach volleyball, burger/beer joint.just like my own homes in FL and in trieste italy, i never want to live in the middle of everything - bars, shops, clubs and restaurants. unless you plan not to sleep at all and to listen to other people's music all day long, why would you want to stay in old town? from marija's apartment, i can easily go any where! it is next to a small mall:there is a nice movie theater where we caught the new "top gun"! there is eurospar, DM, and other stores too! right downstairs, there are also mini marts where we bought our new water shoes, and a bank with an ATM that accepts union pay cards! the convenience factor of this apartment cannot be overstated. 2.authentically clean! everyone claims that they care about how cleanness.but i am a clean freak so i actually see everything. many apartments "look" clean but upon close inspection, they are not. marija's place not only looks spotless, but smells clean. i can tell all the linens are clean, and of high quality.all the quilts, pillows underneath the covers, sofa are also super clean - items many hosts do not bother to ever launder or clean.but here, even the balcony and outdoor furniture on it are clean! i was very impressed! 3. comfortable high quality furnishing including 2 a/c units. it is true that there is no a/c in the main bedroom, but truly you can keep the door open and cold air will cool it down in no time! sofa is big and comfy, you can sleep in it! and there is ANOTHER double sofa bed that is more comfortable than some of the "real" beds i have slept in! 4. gracious host! marija is super responsive even days before we arrived at zadar! every single question i had (and i had a lot😆) she replied immediately from the best seafood restaurant in town to where to buy exterior paint! (yes i needed to do some shopping for my home in trieste on this trip!) her mum even bought me a big bag of local candies i loved so much! 5. the apartment has a great view because it is on the 12th floor of the tallest building of the entire area - you can see the marina and the bridge; you can watch sunset from the BR. and check in is keyless.everything is electronic! no keys to worry about!

we were not very well prepared for this apartment The pictures led us wrong . The view is not on the water like we had thought but on old buildings. The air conditioning is only in the kitchen and the living room. So it is hot in the bedroom. In the bedroom , there is no ceiling light. Only a mood light with a changing light from blue to green to red and you can’t see anything. The table lamps are 5 inches tall so good luck. The bed is also too small and to soft. My 6 foot husband had to sleep in diagonal so I ended up in the living room with a too hard mattress on a sofabed , where I froze because if we wanted air con in the bedroom you had to set it cold. Also this apartment is VERY hard to find because the street adress we were given is on a road and this building is like in the backyard of the building on the street. Since we had a picture of the building we knew which one it was but could not access it from the street with a car. There was no driveway to turn into so we had to circle the block 2 or 3 times before we understood where to enter and where to park in the middle of a lot or cars and one way streets. Cars were parked anywhere and everywhere on sidewalks, behind other cars anywhere you could find a little hole. Besides those issues the location was great to walk to restaurants and the waterfront . There is no key to enter which is nice. You just have to remember codes.

Tanja's flat is clean, bright and modern and has great views over the old town and water from the bedroom and living room windows. It is 15 mins walk from the centre of the old town (which is beautiful) and a 5 min walk to town swimming area of Kolovare, the location is definitely its strong point. It is super easy to find from the main road into Zadar if you arrive by car too. If you are just looking for a really nicely fitted out base to take days out from then this is perfect - the ferries for Ugljan and beyond leave from the quay just 10 mins walk away. The flat is in a tall 1960's residential tower block which is in quite a tatty neighbourhood, the concrete balcony overlooks the housing estate and shopping mall and so doesn't feel very 'holiday-ish' for sitting out on, but that's just our taste :) It is also beside a busy main road, so bring ear plugs unless you plan to keep the windows shut.

Newly renovated apartment overlooking the city and old town of Zadar! The apartment complex was being renovated while my wife and I were in town but our host was very helpful during our stay to help us stay comfortable and enjoy our stay. The apartment is within walking distance of old town with all of the shopping, restaurants, and museums of the city. We never needed a to use our car or a taxi during our whole stay. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Zadar!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Zadar. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, & elegantly decorated & furnished, with a deliciously comfortable bed, a huge range of cooking equipment, & literally everything provided. The sensational view of the city & beyond never failed to enthral us, & we were even able to watch a leg of the cycling Tour of Croatia from our balcony as the riders whizzed past. During an unseasonable cold snap in April we were thankful for the generous heating, not to mention the surprise gift of wine, chocolates & liqueur from Tanja & her mother. Das Apartment ist nur ein paar Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt und ein kleiner Supermarkt ist auch in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern eingerichtet, die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, allerdings gibt es rundherum viele nette Restaurants, so dass man nicht selber kochen muss. Der Balkon ist für zwei Personen ausreichend und hat eine schöne Aussicht. Insgesamt würde ich dieses Apartment jedem weiterempfehlen. Ebenfalls hat der Check-in und auch die Kommunikation wunderbar funktioniert. Vielen Dank noch einmal für die netten Restauranttips und den Wein zur Begrüßung! Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit!

Très bel appartement et très propre, idéal pour découvrir Zadar. Tout s’est bien passé même si je n’étais pas tout à fait au fait de la procédure à suivre pour les réservations Abritel ce qui a fait stresser Marija et j’en suis désolée ( première fois sur le site, je pensais que la seconde partie du paiement était prélevé automatiquement, mais non). A noter toutefois qu’il n’y a pas d’air climatisé dans la chambre, donc il est préférable de laisser la porte ouverte pour profiter de l’air frais de la cuisine. Merci !

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gepflegt und schön eingerichtet. Auf dem Balkon konnte man die tolle Aussicht über die Stadt genießen und entspannen. Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen und bat alles, was man für den Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Lage war ebenfalls top, zum Strand Kolovare waren es ca. 5 Min. zu Fuß, in die sehr schöne Altstadt ca. 10 Min. Die sehr schöne alte Stadt Nin war mit dem Auto in 15-20 Min. zu erreichen, dort gab es auch einen sehr empfehlenswerten schönen Sandstrand. In den nahegelegenen Supermärkten (teilweise auch zu Fuß in nur wenigen Minuten erreichbar) konnte man gut einkaufen. Einzig allein die Parkplatzsituation war nicht ganz so super, da der Parkplatz vor dem Haus und in den anliegenden Straßen oft überfüllt war. Die Vermieterin war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Alles in allem war es ein super Aufenthalt in einem tollen Apartment, Danke dafür!

Very clean and nicely renovated apartment in 10 min. walking distance from historic downtown. It has all the equipment needed and with a supermarket just around the corner. The building and surrounding areas are not so nice but didn’t really matter to us. As others have pointed out the terrace does not face towards the harbour so don’t expect to spend the afternoon watching the sundown from there. There is no assigned parking lot for the apartment but we never had issues finding a spot on the parkinglot right outside the frontdoor although somewhat chaotic layout. We never met the owner as we just got the access codes for the building/aparment via mail but communication was very good and fast. We recommend this apartment if you are looking for an exceptionally clean/functional place to stay in Zadar with proximity to downtown.
