About this apartment rental
Apartment of 80 m² located in Via Eugenio Barsanti (secondary street near Viale Marconi, one of the main shopping streets), on a private road on the 4th floor with lift. The apartment is adjacent to the Trastevere station and Viale di Trastevere (famous street full of restaurants, nightclubs, pubs, bars), close to the famous and characteristic Testaccio district (known for its nightlife) and close to Via Ettore Rolli (the ancient Portaportese open-air market). The apartment consists of 2 double bedrooms, a living area with a comfortable double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms with shower. In the house there is a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, air conditioning in every room, TV in every room with NETFLIX (archive with more than 1000 films and TV series in different languages), free fiber optic Wifi (very fast) , double glazing for greater sound insulation, 2 small balconies.
Trastevere is a place of traditions, arts and typical roman food (see Restaurants in Rome Trastevere in the relevant section ). The charm of this location of Rome can be barely described and corresponds to the rates of accommodations and holiday apartments available in the whole district. The alleys are full of shops, restaurants often with tables outside in the street, bars and stalls with every genre of products. The main square (Santa Maria in Trastevere) is usually full of street - artists and hosts one of the most beautiful churches of Rome we really suggest to visit: Santa Maria in Trastevere.
TRASPORTATION:
From Fiumicino Airport to the apartment: by Train FR1 to Trastevere station in 30 minutes;
From the apartment to the center: by tram 8 in 15 minutes.
The tram stop 8 is located approximately 300 meters and leads to Trastevere and to the center.
Trastevere Train Station is about 200 meters and is connected with Fiumicino Airport, the main railway station Termini (connected with Ciampino Airport) and the Metro B Ostiense (if You want to walk is 1 km from the apartment).

The little street the apartment block is situated in may initially be underwhelming, the apartment itself was very clean, and spacious and well equipped. Contact and support from the host was easy to access.

This was a very nice place for 5 adults to stay. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The third full/queen bed was a hideaway in the living room which could be closed off at night. The 2 bedrooms had a small balcony which was really nice. One of the owner's assistant met us at the apartment to show us around. They had very detailed instructions for everything in a binder. The washer worked well and they offered detergent. There was a drying rack on the balcony which was mostly covered in case of rain. The assistant was running late to meet us, but that worked out because we were running late too. Transportation was a bit challenging to figure out initially and this apartment is on the far end of Trastevere from the city center so plan to take transportation everywhere you want to go. We felt very safe, but some may not like to stay in this area.
