This unit is located 70 meters from the beach of Santa Maria del Focallo at Ispica, in the province of Ragusa in the South East of Sicily.This finely furnished villa has a living room/kitchen, with sofa, 3 bedrooms, (1 bedroom with bathroom), 1 double bedroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds, and a second bathroom. There is a semi covered outside veranda with ample windows that makes it usable even in low season. There is a barbecue space for outside dining, a spacious garden with green lawn and reserved parking area for 2 cars. The villa is perfectly suited for a family or a young couple with children. The area is ideal for those seeking a relaxing vacation away from the chaos of busy city life while offering possibilities of discovering Green and unspoiled places.The 8 mile long beach is only a few meters away. This long strand has dunes covered with Mediterranean vegetation and was designated Blue Flag in 2010.The South East of Sicily, recently rediscovered Baroque streets and sights invite leisurely exploration, from Scicli to Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Noto, Palazzolo Acreide and finally the world famous, Siracusa. Beaches and nature reserves, (Venidicari reserve and Carratois and Calamoshe beaches come to mind), capture the imagination, while renewing and refreshing tired spirits. All these attractions make this corner of Sicily, one of a kind and much appreciated by travelers and vacationers who are searching for areas untarnished by mass tourism.

Wir waren zu zweit hier und haben es sehr genossen. Für vier Personen könnte es auch geeignet sein. Platz hatten wir genug. Uns ist sofort aufgefallen, dass das Ferienhaus sehr sauber ist. Was wir etwas unbequem fanden, war, dass man die gesamte Summe in bar bei Ankunft bezahlen musste.
Die Ausstattung ist gut bis sehr gut.
Als Kaffeemaschine gelten zwei Bialettis ;-). Aber ein Wasserkocher war auch da.
Der Fernseher ist nur auf italienisches TV eingestellt.
Probleme mit der Elektrizität hatten wir nicht, wie früher beschrieben wurde.
Wir haben die Gasflasche, die den Herd versorgt hat, lieber immer erst bei Bedarf aufgedreht, weil es sonst nach Gas roch.
Carlo Giliberto ist der Eigentümer und ist sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Er und seine Frau haben uns in Empfang genommen. Da Carlo Giliberto kein Wort Deutsch oder Englisch spricht - und wir leider kein Italienisch -, hat er sich um Dolmetscher aus dem Dorf oder über Skype bei seinem Sohn bemüht. (Ein Zettel mit allem Wichtigem auf Englisch wäre praktischer gewesen. ;-))
Das Haus scheint sehr neu zu sein und ist noch nicht auf Landkarten digiitalisiert. Man sollte dies unbedingt bei der Anreise beachten, wenn man mit Navi anreist.
Jedenfalls fanden wir am schönsten, dass man so dicht zum Strand wohnen konnte. Die SP67 war zwar gleich hinter dem Haus, hatte aber im Haus keinen Lärm verursacht. Ohne Auto ist man hier etwas ab vom Schuss. Nahverkehr haben wir hier nicht gesehen. Pozzallo ist der geeignetste Ort zum Einkaufen gewesen.
"Casa Rosa", ein Imbiss an der Ecke, hat uns des Öfteren mit einfachem, aber gutem und sehr preiswertem Essen versorgt. Die Bedienung war sehr nett.
Wir würden das Ferienhaus weiterempfehlen.

Super Infrastruktur für einen Langzeitaufenthalt. Wir nutzten die Villa für das Radtraining. Bad, Küche, Waschmaschine.. alles einwandfrei. Es hat genügend Platz für Fahrräder und deren Service.
Einziger Punkt, die Sicherung kann rausfallen, da muss man den Hauptschalter wieder reinmachen.
