About this cottage rental
Relax and breathe the salt air in this charming waterfront cottage. It is on well-known Bearskin Neck with a large deck and a big yard right on the water. While the shops, galleries, restaurants, and harbor are just a two-minute walk, the cottage is very private and quiet. "'Saltair" is fully furnished with one bedroom (two twin beds), a complete kitchen and a sunset across the water. It is filled with charm, history and antiques. There is parking on the property. The library and renowned Shalin Liu Theater are a five minute walk. It is a 7-10 minute walk to three beaches. The Commuter Rail and grocery story are a 15-minute walk. Every place you walk, bike or drive is bursting with natural beauty and quaintness. NOTE: the living room and bathroom floors in this funky cottage slant, so bring your sea legs :)

Carol was a great host. Everything we needed was in the cottage and the location is perfect. The historical items and books in the cottage added to the ambiance and experience. I highly recommend the whale watching trip and plan on at least a day to explore bearskin neck. The twin beds are thin and there's plywood between the mattress and box spring. It was like getting onto a stone slab, BUT, I slept well and was not sore in the morning so then there's that! There's room for an air mattress or two if needed. I highly recommend.

Location,location,location! This charming antique cottage overlooks the water. The cottage is on Bear Skin Neck. The shops, restaurants, art museum,etc are all within walking distance. I enjoyed sitting on the beautiful deck reading my book. The cottage was very clean and had everything I could want. I would highly recommend this property. I would stay at Saltair again if I go back to Rockport.

Saltair has every convenience you might want. It's in a peaceful spot, with a view of the bay. Yet, just around the corner are Bearskin Neck's shops and restaurants. Beaches and a beautiful park are in easy walking distance.

The Saltair is charming, clean and comfortable and in a superb location. Watching the lobster boat from the front window was a treat! Carol went above and beyond from my first interaction with her to make our trip wonderful. Will definitely be back to Saltair- wish we could have stayed forever!
