Villa Pantelis

The house itself is looks gorgeous - even more beautiful than what you see on the pictures - and has everything you need for a long vacation. The hosts are always available for any help needed and very friendly as well as ready to answer any kind of questions about what to visit and give suggestions.

Everything about our stay at Villa Pantelis was perfect. We received a wonderfully warm welcome from Tassos and Maria and were greeted with an array of delicious snacks and treats on arrival, including Maria's homemade cake, which was absolutely delicious. The spacious outdoor area is beautifully maintained by Maria and is a botanist's dream, filled with fragrant herbs, trees, colourful flowers and a thriving vegetable garden. There are plenty of places to relax or dine outside, making the most of the peaceful surroundings. Inside, the villa is traditionally decorated, exceptionally well equipped and extremely comfortable. Set in an elevated position within a quiet, authentic Cretan village, the villa enjoys beautiful views and a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere. A car is recommended to explore the nearby beaches, attractions and local amenities, and we found it to be an excellent central base for discovering the island. As a family of five with three older teenage boys, we couldn't have been happier. Villa Pantelis is a thoughtful, charming home set in beautiful grounds, and the genuine hospitality of Tassos and Maria made our stay truly memorable. We would return without hesitation.

Beautiful house and facilities, fantastic pool and terraces

Urlaub vom ersten Augenblick ! Der Vermieter hat uns persönlich empfangen und durchs Haus geführt, wir (drei Paare) fühlten uns sofort wie zu Hause, auf dem Tisch standen ua Wasser, selbst hergestellte Lebensmittel, Blumen und sogar ein selbstgebackener Kuchen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war über WhatsApp sehr einfach (auch schon vor der Anreise), wir konnten ihn jederzeit kontaktieren. Das Haus und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt, alles mit Liebe zum Detail und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und angelegt. Auf Anfrage kann man sich auch ein sehr üppiges Frühstück mit griechischen Köstlichkeiten machen lassen. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen für den täglichen Bedarf sowie eine kleine einfache Taverne (Appolonia Coffee & More), wo man sehr gut eine Kleinigkeit essen oder auch nur was trinken kann.
