About this cottage rental
A great vacation cottage located on Big Glen Lake's south side sandbar by the Narrows. The cottage consists of a main house and a four car garage with three bedrooms and two baths (Towers). Off the back of the house is a large two level deck with the most spectacular views of Big Glen Lake and Alligator Hill. There is a boat house down by the beach fully stocked with kayaks, paddleboards, life jackets, and many different kinds of toys for all ages. There is also a paddleboat and a boat mooring.
The main house has three bedrooms and two half baths (one is a shower and one is a toilet/sink in the two twin bedroom). There is a master bedroom with a queen bed, tons of closet space, and a master bath with a shower, oversized tub, and two sinks. The second bedroom has two twin beds with a half bath. The third bedroom has a bunk-beds with a trundle bed) Also in the main house is a living room, sunroom, kitchen, and dining area. Kitchen has built in appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and a trash compactor. In the basement is a washer and a dryer with a second refrigerator. There is a shower off of the kitchen and a full bath in the hallway, There are plenty of beach towels in the hallway closet.
Above the garage (Towers) there are three queen bedrooms and two full baths. There is another washer and dryer in the towers. In front of the garage is parking for four vehicles and the driveway can accommodate an additional three vehicles.
The property has 185' frontage and the water is perfect for small children. You can wade out in the clearest of water all the way to the Narrows, approximately 400 feet, where you will find one of the most popular spots on the lake. The dock is brand new and there is beautiful sandy beach as well as a large lawn area for people to relax by the water. Of course no beach would be complete without a nice fire pit to roast those marshmallows.
As this cottage is open all year it is also an excellent rental for hunters, snowmobilers, and skiers.(

Great vacation for our family gathering of 12 including 4 children. Close proximity to Sleeping Bear Dune and the town of Glen Arbor, only a half hour away from Traverse City, there was lots of fun to be had nearby. Could actually enjoy the week without ever leaving the house though. Enough boats, floats, and toys in the shed to keep everyone occupied during the day and a fire pit with stocked firewood to enjoy the cool evenings as the sun set. Comfortable, clean, home stocked with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of parking. My only caution is that there is no AC. Most of our week it wasn’t needed but the heat and humidity were an unwelcome surprise at times.
