Apartamentos Plaza Nueva

It was perfect for our family of 4. Traveled with a 9 and 6 year old. The apartment is great to be honest. Hosts were great and very easy to contact and very helpful. The location is great. Very close to everything. We will come back in the future for sure.

The location is very central and the air conditioning kept the room very cool, the rooftop area was a perk however the pool was quite dirty and small.

We had a lot of issues during our stay that i’m sure were individual to us but definitely impacted the experience negatively. On our first night we got in at around midnight and when we went to go to sleep the bed collapsed from under us, we looked to see the legs were bent and we couldn’t straighten them, I called the owner and he said he would be there to fix it in the morning and so we slept on the sofa bed. While getting ready to sleep on the sofa bed we checked the lock on the door of our apartment that led onto the shared rooftop terrace (we were on the 3rd floor). The gate that covers the window only closed on one side and the doors lock itself was flimsy, the only sense of security we had was that the shutters were similar to shop shutters and were on the outside of the window. As I was getting into bed I closed the curtains and the curtain pole fell down on top of my partner asleep in the sofa bed. The next morning we had to wait until midday for someone to come to fix all the issues and it ate into our day, not only was I very upset about the issues in the apartment, I also had to wait around until they were solved in the apartment as I didn’t feel comfortable leaving our stuff there without having locked the doors ourselves when someone was in the apartment. This is no reflection on the staff as they were lovely and we were offered compensation for the price of one night in the apartment, however it did just really put a dampener on the stay and I wouldn’t return to these apartments because of that. Be aware there is no safe in the apartment either and I also did get a bit of a damp musty smell in the apartment too. I also found ants in the area where the bin was kept in the apartment in one of the presses. Overall, issues were fixed quickly with apology from the owners and I can understand that possibly previous tenants had caused these issues, however it really did impact us negatively and put a dampener on the holiday.
