About this chalet rental
This century-old house, with a total interior area of 240m and a large garden, is a great solution for your beach and city holidays as a family, or with a group of friends. It is fully furnished and equipped to give you all the comfort you need up to a maximum of 16 px. The geographic location is perfect as it allows for a total mobility of the guests without using the car. All around you have everything! Very close to the train, 1 minute walk (direct access to the center of Lisbon and Cascais) and 10 minutes walk to the wonderful beach of Carcavelos world famous for surfing!
The Marginal road and the A5 motorway make Carcavelos a place of easy and quick accessibility.
The villa is very hospitable and quite safe (day and night). Parking is easy, being free in most places.

We had a very nice week in Carcavelos. My Children and Grandchildren loved the house and enjoyed the swimming pool and eating meals outside very much! Pedro Soares is very nice.

After the initial booking in October 2024 we were informed by the Property manager Pedro, that the price had not been increased to reflect 2025 prices. After further discussion we were then informed the price would increase approximately 20% due to renovation cost VRBO fees. This change made it very difficult to change through the VRBO app as the booking had already been confirmed at the initial price. This meant that after various frustrating conversations with VRBO and Pedro the initial booking had to get cancelled and we had to book again at the new increased price.On check-in Pedro was very accommodating at letting us check in 4 hrs earlier on the first day. He met us at the property, was very friendly and suggested various places to eat in the local area. The property itself was very spacious for the group number of 10 we had staying. However given that we were told that the property had been renovated there were certain elements that were not up to our expectations (given that our price increased).The garden area was overgrown in areas and could have done with some weeding and general garden maintenance. The BBQ was completely unusable due to it not being cleaned and the grates being corroded to the point in which we could not use. This was a shame as we were expecting to use on the Saturday but could not. We were informed that one of the bedrooms downstairs was unusable due to it being flooded. This wasn't an issue due to our smaller group size but could have

Pedro was so friendly and accommodating - communication with him was fantastic which made things go very smoothly.
The property suited us perfectly (11 colleagues on a study trip). It was in a super location - easy to get into central Lisbon via the train, and close enough to the beach to walk there. Parking was free on adjacent streets.
The property itself was good - nice layout, and a good outdoor area to socialise in.
