First timers

Just returned from a week's stay here with wife and mum. Apartments we're perfectly located for us. Loads of cafes and tapas bars within a few mins walk. Beach and town centre 5/10 mins walk. Pool area is on first floor and has plenty of beds and umbrellas, only slight downside is there's no pool bar but we were in room 101 so wasn't a major problem. Fuengirola itself as a resort was very refreshing. Hasn't been turned into little Britain most of the bars are local based. There's still enough British and mostly Irish bars to keep most people happy, it even has the usual KFC, BK and McDonald's if that's your thing. Overall had a great peaceful holiday.

Great apartments for the price, close to action with a great pool.

Location is fantastic. Very close to the beach, and all the bars and restaurants along the strip. Also on the main bus route heading to the mall and out of town. The pool is fantastic, it gets sun all afternoon until sunset. It's also warm (heated in winter too I believe). Rooms are comfortable with kitchen and all the amenities you'd need. Rooms have air conditioning, and a washing machine. Shower is super powerful. Balcony with views out over the Med are great for relaxing on. Would definitely come back.

Check-in is not until 5pm. If you arrive earlier, there is no luggage store.

I booked to arrive between 15.00 and 16.00 hrs but they don’t open for checking in until 17.00 which was very stressful. I also requested a bath if possible. No baths only showers at the property

Close to beach and restaurants. Quite spacious. Nice pool with no issue getting a sun bed which can be stressful on a holiday

No reception . No change of towels . Cash deposit of 100 euro that you do get back but wasn’t expecting it and be good to know account that so have the cash . Kettle be nice but you are in Spain!

Perfect location, close to the beach but still quiet during the nights. Comfy beds and good shower. Nice and clean swimming pool area with sun all day long.

A bit outdated furniture and kitchenware. Communication with reception personnel as there was no response to e-mail when asking how to check in with late arrival.

We arrived at 2.30 and had to sit waiting for 2 half hours with our bags and it was very frustrating not to be able to get in. There has to be some other way around this. I also send a question was there a hairdryer there but I never got an answer back.

The shower was brutal it was broken The opening hours off the reception wasn't great. I had to hand over a hundred euros cash deposit but on leaving the accommodation you don't get it back you have to give you bank details a wait for a refund.

The staff were kind. Good sofa bed, though I wouldn't recommend the place for more than 2 adults and 1 child. The flat is very small. Good terrace, although way too close to the pool. However, the other guests were always very respecful. The location near the beach and shops.

The AC is truly minimal. It's way too small to cover the whole place. The place was not spotless clean. There aren't cleaning products available nor more than a single toilet roll. We bought toiletry, cleaning products and cleaned the flat everyday ourselves. No way to get an early check in, or use the parking, even if you've requested it. Make sure you wait until 5pm to approach the site. Once someone can receive you, it's all pretty smooth. No option to pay by card either the deposit nor the parking. Make sure you carry cash with you. They refund your deposit to your bank account a week after checking out. The toilet was small and basic. The pictures of the flat we saw when we booked showed a shower door but instead, we found an old platic curtain that neeeded desinfecting. For the price we paid in high summer season, I expected more.

Relaxed apartment for a laid back holiday

I liked that the property was as advertised. The apartments were relaxed. The apartments were basic but pleasant and the price was right. It wasn’t too noisy. The apartments were a little worn but very clean. The staff were friendly. Moreover, the location was great. Close to the beach, close to the main restaurants but set back enough that it was still calm.

I didn’t like that there wasn’t a check in desk. I know there is a phone that you can call but you can call which is a happy medium. I had to wait for check in and for getting the room checked before leaving which was in the middle of the day. That is a tad inconvenient. Not ideal that the towels and sheets are only changed once per week. Would be nice to have the option to change once every 2/3 days

enjoyable apart from the first hour.

very nice apartment, but had trouble getting in. We arrived at 21-30. There was definitely a lack of reception and office staff. We found the keys after a phone call, but we still couldn't access the apartment. The lady who's name was Zulma sent her friend, and he got us in, however the lock needed oiling which was done the next morning. an unfortunate turn of events, but that was our only bad part. We would go back there.

Extremely disappointed!!

I chose Yamasol apartments for the location, and also I had stayed there many years when it was newly built, it does have a pool but did not use it, the beds were comfortable but unfortunately smelt dirty with smelly pillows and pillowcases and smell of previous guests. Bedlinen and pillows where changed for clean ones the following day. Báthroom towels had holes and wearing thin, but good shower, bathroom was cluttered with mop bucket and broom resting by the basin. I loved the balcony with original marble floor tiles and view to the avenue, it’s a shame is so dated and faded with a musky smell it’s in desperate need of a good refurbishment without so much expense it will make an ideal place to stay.

I did not like the abandonment of this apartament, the musky smell as you walk in, the luck of care and attention and hygiene of bedlinen between guests. The curtains are very dated and dark red in the bedroom.

very noisy from underneath apartment. we stayed in 201 and at night time lots of noise coming from apt 101 with furniture being moved and people talking loudly during the weekend nights. unable to sleep due to noise.
