Chalet Nid Blanc

The house was beautiful, modern and very clean, with absolutely wonderful views. The kitchen and dining area were fantastic – spacious, well designed and a pleasure to use. The living area was equally lovely: very comfortable, cosy, and with amazing views. Overall, it was a really enjoyable place to stay. A special mention goes to the communication with the owners, which was excellent. They were very responsive, friendly and genuinely considerate of us as guests. Thank you! A few practical things that may be useful for future guests to know in advance. In addition to the accommodation price, a separate security deposit is required. This is completely understandable considering the value of the house and everything in it, but it is worth being aware of when planning your stay and budget.

We were a little surprised by the amount of cleaning expected from guests upon departure, particularly considering the price level of the accommodation. We were asked to remove the bed linen from all beds and gather it in one place, as well as take the rubbish away ourselves and find a suitable disposal point outside the property. At this price point, we would personally expect these things to be included as part of the final cleaning. It is also worth noting that firewood for the hot tub comes at an additional cost. Again, considering the overall price of the stay, it would have been a nice touch to have this included. Unfortunately, the sauna was not working during our stay, so we were unable to use it.

Everything, the view was awesome
