About this apartment rental

A beautiful tree house cottage in a very quiet little village just north of LA. We are a 5 minute walk to the Gold Line Metro which can take you to Union Station, the Hollywood Bowl, Staples Center and the beach as well as numerous other sought after destinations in and around Los Angeles and Hollywood. We are right off of the famous and historic Route 66 where the original Fair Oaks Pharmacy and Soda fountain sits since 1905. We are about 2 miles to the Rose Parade starting point and float line-up and the Rose Bowl. We have a nice selection of restaurants, in our little town, and even our own Irish pub for imbibing your favorite beverage or to enjoy some live entertainment.
Dodger stadium is a short distance by car or ride-share and is right next to Chinatown. Neighboring Pasadena is of course, a whole 'nother world of foodies paradise and wonderland of things to do.

About this apartment rental

It was a nicely furnished, thoughtful and comfortable place to stay on a busy weekend. Well decorated, with home appliances and kitchen staples. It was quiet and the bed was really comfortable. We went to the Rose Bowl and Parade and this place was perfectly located to be out of the hubub but close enough for easy access to all of the festivities. It was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The sheets were silky soft. The kitchen was updated and cute and just what we needed for a couple of days on the go.

This wonderful place is so perfect, it makes a delightful stay in south Pasadena. The apartment has everything you need. Great for a couple! Just a short walk to great coffee (Jones) and really great food—especially breakfast: the Harvest Grill. Walking around the neighborhood is also a pleasure. Very quiet and comfortable. For 3 weeks it was my home away from home while visiting family and friends. Having your own washer and dryer is an extra plus. This apartment is freeway and light rail close in a great neighborhood. The apartment was welcoming and immaculate. In addition to a full kitchen, there is a really good mattress, soft towels and a mighty fine shower. There is also an outside balcony where you can sit and have morning coffee.

We had a very nice 3-night stay in the apartment. Being located so close to the Gold Line light rail station was very convenient for us, as we did not have a car. There is also an upscale grocery store about a 10-minute walk away that we used to buy food to cook in one night. The apartment was very clean, and had lots of natural light. We particularly appreciated the adjustable and ample bedside lighting. Since the weather turned a bit chilly while there, the heater in the bathroom was also appreciated. The kitchen was well-equipped with cookware and newer appliances. The bottle of wine left in the refrigerator was a nice find upon our arrival. And the TV & wifi worked great. Michelle was very responsive and helpful when we had a problem with the door lock. We would definitely recommend the apartment, especially for those without a car. We hope to return soon.

Perfect for our getaway

We stayed for four nights in late February for a brief sun break from our Seattle home. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. We took advantage of the short five-minute walk to the stop for the light rail to downtown L.A. Cute restaurants and antique shops also within walking distance. We’re glad we found this VRBO!
