Hotel Ortensia was in the most perfect location, and most importantly had the most wonderful staff. I stayed here for 4 nights since I wanted easy access to both the beaches, restaurants, and the port and it was right by a bus station that ran about every 20 minutes. It made it very easy to get around the island to explore. It’s also extremely close to two of the best beaches that I experienced.
Additionally, the staff here were so warm, welcoming and kind. They all made me feel like family and really at home. They gave me recommendations, helped me find places to eat, told me how to get around, and were so lovely to talk with in general. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Ponza!

The staff were really kind and lovely people. We were very well taken care of! The room had an incredible view of the ocean and the hotel was very well situated in a quieter part of the island. We thought that the decor was excellent—our room had beautiful yellow walls and there were some nice plates on the wall in the reception area.
the stay was too short!
