Cava d'Oro

Cava d'Oro exceeded all our expectations. Tucked away in a peaceful corner of Rhodes Old Town, it offers the perfect balance of tranquillity while being just a short walk from all the main attractions—around 15 minutes to the harbour, 10 minutes to the beach, and right on the doorstep of the historic old town. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed, including air conditioning, a mini fridge, a kettle, and plenty of towels. George, Alexia, and all the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They provided excellent recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and getting around the city, which made exploring Rhodes so much easier. Breakfast is available for €15 per person and offers a good variety of fresh options. The hotel also provides airport transfers for €40 each way, which is a convenient option if you don't want to arrange a taxi. We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Cava d'Oro to anyone looking for a peaceful base in Rhodes Old Town. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Rhodes.

Staying at Cava d'Oro was one of the highlights of our trip to Rhodes. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel not like guests, but like family — their warmth and genuine hospitality are truly something special. This is not just another hotel. Cava d'Oro is a truly exclusive place with a soul — something that is increasingly rare and impossible to find in standard, cookie-cutter accommodations. Every corner of this place tells a story, and you feel it from the very first moment. The hotel is perfectly located in the Old Town, yet tucked away in a peaceful spot that feels like a world of its own. What truly won our hearts was the beautiful olive tree growing right in the courtyard — lovingly cared for by the owners, it gives the whole place a magical, timeless character. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with fresh towels and linen changed daily — every detail attended to with care and love. Breakfast was a real delight: seasonal fresh fruits and freshly squeezed orange juice every morning set the perfect tone for the day. If you are planning to visit Rhodes and want something genuinely special — not just a place to sleep, but an experience to remember — do not hesitate. Cava d'Oro is the place to stay.
