About this villa rental
La Casa Ortalis & Casita is a picturesque and unique villa located behind a private, gated driveway on the north-end bluff over looking the San Pancho beach. Upon entering the main home on the second level, one will be encompassed in the open air palapa covered living room and dining area, all leading out to the infinity pool terrace. Throughout the entire level you can enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and beach below!
The entrance level also consists of a fully enclosed kitchen and an enclosed den with two single beds that includes additional sleeping options and full bathroom. On the far west end sits the incredible master king, en-suite bedroom with an ocean view terrace and views that make one feel as though they are floating on the ocean. On the far east end is the guest, en-suite king bedroom with a jungle and ocean view terrace. Stairs lead down below to the en-suite queen bedroom with a private jungle terrace. All bedrooms host A/C, an elegant open air shower, full bathroom and ceiling fans.
Behind the home, a stone pathway leads you to the most recent edition, an incredible, ocean view, two-story detached casita hosting an en-suite king bedroom below with an open air palapa resting area up top.
La Casa Ortalis & Casita is nestled on a bluff directly over the Pacific Ocean on the edge of the tropical forest providing every view with a scene of life and beauty. The seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces allows you to fully embrace the warmth and beauty of this very special location!
This home is also available to rent as a three bedroom home without the casita as La Casa Ortalis. Please inquire within for details.

We absolutely loved staying at Casa Ortalis! The views are breathtaking. We saw whales from the comfort of the pool deck every day of our visit.
It is an easy, albeit steep, walk to the beach. While we did not have a golf cart or a car, we think that when we come back we might want one for trips into town. It’s only about a mile, but some of it is pretty dark and with the beautiful cobblestone streets, it would have been nice to have a golf cart. We often walked into town for dinner, then used a taxi back to the house.

We were a group of 7 celebrating a birthday, and this villa couldn't have been more perfect for us! The pictures in the listing don't quite capture how incredible the view is - the sunsets were so picturesque they almost looked fake.
We were hit with incredibly high temperatures and humidity (October) but the rooms had a/c which was a life-saver. Staff was incredibly responsive and lovely to deal with. Get a golf cart as soon as you arrive - you'll use it every day to run into town.
Would stay again and look forward to another trip to San Pancho in the future!

The house is amazing. The views are breathtaking. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is wonderful.

We brought our daughters and their partners to stay here and we were all blown away by the wonderful villa. The huge open plan space under the enormos palapa style roof was fantastic. We spent many a happy hour under it, storm and sunset watching.
We loved the fact that we all had our own ensuite generous and very comfortable ensuite bedroom suites. The open showers, especially ours in the master suite were sublime. Showering in the open, whilst overlooking the sea was a very special experience.
The staff were lovely, attentive and helpful, and Eva cooked us some delicious meals.
We would love to retun here one day.
