The hotel room is really nice, huge bedroom and bathroom. The bed was really comfortable.
Breakfast is very good, plenty of choice to satisfy everyone. A really nice restaurant on site for evening meals.
The swimming pool area is really good.
The only downside is the location as it’s on top of a hill, so you do need your own transport.
This is a minor issue.

Beautiful hillside view of sea and Castlesado perched in the distance.
Friendly staff.

You can't safely walk to Castlesado (there is a busy road).
There were a lot of wasps each morning with breakfast, making sitting outside unbearable.
(Sometimes 5 wasps visiting at any time!)
The hotel doesn't seem to see this as a problem but I think they need a mesh screen.
(There is no pre-laid seating inside but we moved ourselves in).
You must pick your breakfast choices the day before, which is unusual and seems unnecessary. A small, simple buffet would be better.
There were wedding events on 2 successive afternoon /evenings, with chanting which sounds like a football match (300 guests).
But the live band sounded good!
The safe to room 103 does not work and was not fixed. The cleaners twice left the room unlocked - even after we mentioned to the desk that they should ensure our possessions were secured.
