Excellent hotel with a great location, good restaurant and great service.

The hotel was an excellent, well organized, with swimming pool open all the time and closely located to the beach. The hotel was very clean, the room was very spacious with a sea side view balcony and kept very clean.. The reception staff was very professional, attentive and friendly, always ready to help. The services were very good, with one exception- laundry. The bar was close to the swimming pool, very convenient, with friendly staff, the restaurant was very good with a good menu, food was great, but I would appreciate more variety. The beach, was very long and nice and clean but the sea water was very dirty, practically un-swimmable.

One thing I did not like it was returned laundry, the shorts had some small stains, they haven't been washed properly, they were still dirty when they returned them back after washing, considering all great services at this hotel, I was very surprised that nobody even check that, I was leaving so I did not want to argue about it.

Accommodating and helpful staff, great location and breakfast, perfect for visiting the beach and town centre

Fantastic location for the beach and town centre. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with storage space, robes and a nice balcony. The breakfast was delicious too and the staff were very accommodating and helpful, especially Julia on the front desk who assisted us with arranging a last minute airport transfer after our original transfer did not arrive. The pool is also beautiful despite being located next to the road it felt private and not too noisy.

There is no option to use an iron within the room, you need to pay to have this done by housekeeping staff. Only one of the plug sockets worked with a UK to Europe plug adapter, and this was in the bathroom. The WiFi was not always functioning properly and the connection was often quite poor.

Pleasant enough but I would call it a 3 star.

Great pool although I wasn’t expecting it to back on to the main road. Cocktails in the bar were fantastic. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff were pleasant. Bar and restaurant were bright and light spaces. Location is good. Overall a nice 3 nights.

Beds a little hard. VERY thin walls, we heard everything our neighbours did. I originally requested twin beds through booking.com but this had not been communicated to the hotel. Regardless, they changed it quickly. We arrived by train but there were no taxis at the station. I called the hotel and they sent one within 5 minutes however the very short journey was 30 euros. It’s probably fair for Forte but I thought that was very expensive.

Central location

The staff were very helpful. The bikes we hired were an added advantage to our stay. We were close to the start of the Terre Di Canossa. The network worked well and the local restaurants had a huge range.

Fabulous location, directly at the beach and it's own pool. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The room was alright, for the money but the bathroom was smashed and shabby. The restaurant was fine for breakfast but very disappointing for evening meal.

location is very good. best beach tents just infront and in the middle of the shpping streets and best restaurants. also the weekly street market is just 200 m away. the staff is very kind and helpfull

breakfast was often short on warm food (scramble eggs, bacon etc). not filled often. the price we paid was too far too high for the value that the hotel had to offer

Expensive with very poor sound isolation in the rooms

The location is perfect, first row in the center, couldn't be better!

It is an old italian hotel after renovation but the pool size is laughable, if you want to have a breakfast outside there are 4 tables and worst of all the sound isolation in the rooms is tragic - you hear toilettes from other rooms, TVs, hallway floor is so noisy that you can't sleep at night for several hours, doors are very thin. Given the price for the rooms this is not acceptable

Everything about the hotel was great, from the staff to the bike rental to the food. I had such a great time and felt very welcomed! On top of that, the location was ideal!

Exceptional

During my time at forte, my dad fell of his bike and fractured his femur. The staff were wonderful, did everything to help us . From changing our room to the ground floor to ringing multiple companies to help us look for a private ambulance. I’m forever grateful we were staying here and not elsewhere when this happened.
