We enjoyed our stay thanks. Couple of things as you want feed back. All the outside furniture have seen better days. There was no toilet paper or kitchen towel which may have been an oversight but one would expect those. The kettle looked like a piece was missing on the switch and should probably be replaced. The garden looks a little sad. Very near an industrial estate which was noisy during the day and a skate board park being used into the late evening. We were out most of the time sightseeing. The area is lovely and it was good to be able to walk back after a drink. The stairs are extremely noisy , no creeping down to the loo in the night! The building itself was very quaint and full of character. I’m not sure I would class it luxurious. I’ve always cleaned up afterwards but never been asked to do the vacuuming before, that what we want to get away from! It was good that we could use the key code and come and go as we pleased. Didn’t have any contact with the owner. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Had a wonderful week only time we used the car was to visit a relative in Bristol so many walks to do and places to visit from the cottage the town was easily accessible with plenty of cafes & eateries and supermarkets The cottage itself was small but great for two people fitted out to a very high standard we stayed late September and still had a few beautiful afternoons on the patio on returning from a walk it would be bliss in the summer evenings too a real suntrap highly recommend

This is a lovely little cottage set in a superb location with an outlook down the leafy valley. The cottage is generally well appointed and comfortable, and has a big comfy bed. The garden is private, sunny and secure, and being a dog friendly property, this makes it an ideal garden for dogs. There is WiFi in the cottage and good phone signal in the area We found the kitchen facilities rather lacking as the kitchen is dominated by a huge "range" cooker which was of limited use, being slow to heat up, (We couldn't get the hotplates to work). The cottage has two additional gas hobs which were useful, but it does not have any grilling facilities. We enjoy cooking when on holiday so found the cooking facilities limiting. Kitchen storage comprises of open shelves only, meaning glassware and crockery remains out in the open. There is no covered cupboard storage to put things away, (so nowhere to store food away from doggy noses) The cottage is advertised as having a freezer, but this is just an "ice box" inside the fridge. Otherwise the cottage was well presented and very comfortable. It is set up the hill making it a quiet location, yet it is only a few minutes walk into the town centre. The cottage is in a good location for touring the Cotswold's, and also fairly close to the Mendip's and the Welsh Borders, and also to Bristol and Bath for those wanting to travel a little further afield.
