House / Villa - Las Galletas

This villa is amazing, we went with 14 people and we had a great time. The decor is old-fashioned in the best way, it feels like an old Spanish holiday villa, which is what we wanted. THere are a couple of bakeries within walking distance which were great, and walking down to the sea for a swim & a beer was lovely way to spend an afternoon. Only minor criticisms are that it's on a main road, so the room at the front can hear the traffic. You'll also hear planes overhead (though this is because it's so conveniently close to the airport!). Neither of these noise issues caused us any major bother. It would be better if every room had a fan as some rooms were very warm at night (in late September). The listing says there are 10 bedrooms but we only counted eight, which thankfully was more than enough for us, but if you are more than 16 people it would be worth clarifying this before booking. Check-in process was great, they were very flexibel when our flight was delayed and we arrived late at night, but the check-out process was less smooth and we waited for the property manager to arrive for quite a while, only to be told that we didn't need to wait for them, which was a bit of an inconvenience on our last day when we had to catch a flight. However, none of that could mark the exceptional stay we had - the villa had all we needed, the pool was great, the barbecue's brilliant, and the large table outside was excellent for big dinners with everyone each night. Amazing and beautiful villa! Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Very clean and tidy, had everything we needed. The pool and outside area is amazing. Good location with all main towns only 15 minutes away in a taxi. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with.. answered any questions we had. Would 100% recommend.

Villa is perfectly located a short drive from the airport, on a bus route to the main towns and a short walk to bars/restaurants and the beach. Clean and well equipped, unheated pool an added bonus.

The villa is a fantastic property, very nicely decorated and furnished with a lot of charm and character.The pool area and BBQ are above all expectations. Plenty of private secure parking .An ideal base for family / friends to spend a great holiday in Tenerife. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and a short drive to mega supermarkets and all points of interest.Excellent communication and personal greeting. Highly recommend
