We arrived in the dark. The house may look a bit spooky at first sight… :-)
Some traffic noise
Surprising room maintenance every day. Some people may like it, but we did not want to have our linen and sleeping clothes touched while the dustbit was left as it was.

The host was very welcoming, helped us a lot, even guided us how to get from Naples to Agerola. And when we arrived at the accommodation, she recommended many places to eat and what to visit.
You can reach Amalfi in 40 minutes by bus and from there you can take the boat to Positano.
If you want a cheap stay on the Amalfi Coast, I recommend Agerola, here you can eat very well and cheaply from the locals who have restaurants.
The accommodation was very clean, not to mention the fact that the host did everything possible for us to stay earlier than the check-in time.

It was pretty far away from the coast but public transport made it easy to go everywhere:)

Extremely helpful host, Tonia, contacted us days before arrival on whatsapp, had PERFECT recommendations on places to visit, hike, eat and drink, offered help with scooter rental, was always available, on arrival left us cold orange juice in the fridge which was a very nice gesture, seen as we had just got off the bus after a 5hour trip in +30°C weather. Room was clean and modern, fridge, kettle, private shower room included.
Location was great, because San Lazzaro (Agerola) is not crowded at all compared to other coastal cities, has a few nice restaurants/cafès with adequate prices. Buses depart from San Lazzaro so we always had a spot on departure, although arriving back was anxiety inducing due to overcrowded buses. Temperature at night dropped to 22-24°C so evenings were quite pleasant.
We stayed here for 6 nights, and I still had some things to do in Amalfi, we particularly liked the Sentiero degli Dei hike, Furore fjord and paddle boating in Maiori. Maybe next time we should come in off-season because honestly the crowds were overwhelming.
Check out pretty early at 10am. At 11am we asked to use the WC for the last time before a 5hour bus trip but were denied access by the cleaning lady, which I think is FAIR, seen as we had already checked out, but still a little disappointing. Otherwise no real complaints.
