L’altra Sicilia…da Amare

The property is a three-bedroom villa in a vacation villa complex. The complex includes a very nice swimming pool with a swimming guard present. The beach is in a walking distance but it is a typical rocky beach. The villa is nicely furnished and its owner, Salvatore, is a very gracious and caring host. He did everything to make us feel at home. The neighboring city of Sant Agata di Militello offers excellent dining options along the beachfront.

The hosts are very hospitable and very accommodating. Salvatore was always available to help with any matters. The house is very well equipped and basically has everything you need for a holiday. This isn’t a busy tourist area, so the place provides a great opportunity to relax and experience real Sicilian culture and especially food - in very affordable restaurants serving mainly locals along the coast. A swimming pool in the complex is a great addition to the beach (only a couple of minutes walking distance) if the sea is a but rough in the day.

The beaches in all surrounding areas are mostly rocky. You must have beach socks/shoes. Once you are in the water, it’s warm and clear, almost a paradise.

Ein großes Dankeschön den Gastgebern, ein sehr schönes liebevolles eingerichtetes Haus, es fehlte an nichts. Der Empfang war sensationell, ein üppig bestückter Präsent-Korb mit sizilianischen Spezialitäten angefangen von Pasta, Wein, Käse, Wurst, Olivenöl und vielem mehr. Der Gastgeber Salvatore war ständig bemüht uns die besten Ausflugsziele in der Gegend zu erklären, einmal wurden wir sogar vom Bahnhof abgeholt, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Leider war der Pool nicht in Betrieb und der Strand eignete sich nicht zum Baden, man musste ein kleines Stück mit dem Auto fahren, aber das war nicht so schlimm, die Entschädigung: ein unglaublicher Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang, direkt vom angrenzenden Strand
